It's been a month

Yesterday, it was a month since it happened. I still remember the very last meal we had together, roast chicken, veggies and potato that he cooked. That day, it is was good. Dad, my sister and I sat around playing xBox most of the day, we played Halo, and some kind of racing game.

It's already been a month and one day, and yet I can remember every single day since it happened, it's like it only happened yesterday. I keep saying to myself "wake up". But, I know that I am awake, the pain is to real, to 'right in you face', and you can't avoid it, as much as you think you can, or how much you want to, you have to face it head on.

I believe in after life, a lot. Ever since Dad died, a lot of things were happening around the house, like the lights started flickering, Siri randomly starts talking on my iPad, but that's just 2 things. In every life, you learn a new lesson, but lesions can't just be learnt at school, you have to experience them first hand.

The pain never goes away, you simply get better. And, I use the word simply because there is nothing you can do to speed up the process, it is up to the world, and time, you just have to tag along with the ride.
