The First Encounter
Life of a girl who would do anything to please others, especially her parents, disappointment was not acceptable, unfinished work was never acceptable, FINISHING THE JOB was the only way to not disappoint.
Sakura Wantabe, a newborn baby, born in the mafia business. Of course, she didn't ask for this life, it's what life had in store for her. As years went by Sakura was named 'princess'. This name was formed because her father was the king of mafias around japan. Any small-time mafia leader feared them. But one. Almost equally as big and strong as the 'Hassaikai' there was another mafia, called the 'dokuhebi'.
Sakura's POV (age:8)
'Don't go near them'
'If you see them, avoid them'
'You are too you to fight right now'
'You will learn when you're older'
'You can fight, when you're older'
I was always told these words so I don't have to trouble my family, they made me feel like a burden, at the age of 5 they started training me. Every day, it was private school then training, it repeated every day non-stop until now. They made me learn so I can protect myself, but I knew... I knew it was so I wouldn't get in the way of my older brothers and parents. Of course, I'm overthinking again, my parents are nothing but nice and caring for me, and my brothers are very protective even though they are only 3 years older, but I wish I had freedom, it's hard to be locked up in a castle-like the princess with overly long hair.
...
I was getting ready for the gala. This gala takes place once a year, usually, it is a gathering between the rich and powerful, I was told to be careful when we go. I wasn't allowed to wander off and certainly wasn't allowed to interact with them.
I wore a short navy dress that fell down to my knees, the room had jewels and I wore a necklace my grandmother had given me. The nice maid helped me dress while the others were still greeting ready. I looked into the mirror, checking if I looked presentable enough to please father and mother.
"Sakura, sweetie come let's go, I know you are ready we need to be early so we can invite the guests in" my mom yelled
"Coming!" I yelled
While in the car, I looked out the window admiring the view, the tall trees following the motions of the wind, the sun going to sleep. I was thinking about how mature I was for my age, my mom sometimes feels sorry for taking my childhood away from me, but she still goes on with life.
My whole life was just revolved around the mafia, we aren't the bad guys but we aren't the good guys either, we still kill and murder, but only people who get in our way or enemies. At the gala, they were introducing me to the world of leaders, they kept me a secret until I could depend on myself enough to run away from danger.
Once I realized we arrived at the large mansion I snapped out of my thoughts and daydreams.
It's been a few hours in, the venue was beginning to get packed with all sorts of rich people.
'That group of people look scary' I thought looking at the group of people that had green snakes stitched on their suits.
"Mom, can I go to the restroom, please?" I asked, trying to escape and explore around.
"Huh, oh yes sweety do not get lost, and be back in a few minutes" she answered turning back to the people she was greeting.
I turned my heel facing away from my family, I saw two stairs opposite of each other with a red carpet covering the steps. I walked up the long stairs, I was then met with two large doors opening to a large white balcony.
I walked through the doors making sure no one saw me.
Then I saw him.
