Chapter 3- Struggles

I swung at iceskull in a fast flurry. Nevertheless my hand connected with his jaw and he slumped to the ground and sprawled over the floor. I put a single foot on him and yelled "VICTORY IS MIIIIIINEEE!" I looked down at him, OK grinning, to see blood pouring out of his head. Hmm. Maybe I hit him too hard? Oh well he'll live... I think.

I was pulled out of my train of thought by a loud "KER-THWACK" and a sudden pain in the back on my head. I turned around to see the blonde glaring over me "Wow you really are a bully." Did I hit him that hard that Lucy actually bothered to get involved. I watched her as she helped the now unconcsious Gray back to his seat as master appeared real close behind me and whispered "Time to get on the bus Natsuuuuuu!" Everyone seemed to hear it and me and Gajeel started to panic "How about we just walk alongside h-huh?" We both said and grinned nervously, as master grinned at our expressions "I'm just kidding the bus is arranged for tomorrow you knucklehead! If you bothered to read the letter I gave out, you'd know this!" I scratched my neck awkwardly "Well I... I uhh..  I skimmed over it..." Lucy could hardly stifle a laugh. "Hey! What's so funny?!" She couldn't hold it anymore and rolled on the floor laughing. Oh my Mavis. "I hate you Luce"

- Lucy's POV -

I watched as he stormed off, a tear dripping from my eye from laughing. He can be such an idiot sometimes. No wait. Scratch that. All the time. I sighed and layed back and watched the guys staring at me. Just the guys. "What's wrong?" Then I remembered. This morning I put a skirt on instead of trousers. I yelped and jumped in panic. Hey if Natsu was here... Well Heheh I'll just leave it at that. I looked down at master standing with gaping eyes. Oh yeah. I forgot. He's shorter than the rest. The old guy just had to have the perfect shot. "STOP STARING!" I Lucy-kicked master Makarov in the face. He wailed as he flew away "So worth it..." He grunted as I turned to walk away, Wendy tried and struggled to catch up with me. "Hey" she said when she finally caught up to me. "Oh hey Wendy. Where's Carla and happy? I ain't seen them all week." Wendy looked at me and I knew her plan. We both said at the same time "Maybe they're both in looooooovvvee" We both giggled uncontrollably until we saw a battered Happy with bruises everywhere. "Oh my Mavis what happened?!" I ran to Happy and picked him up "It's Carla... I... I confessed to her and she... She did this!" He started bawling his eyes dry as I cuddled him. WAIT HE CONFESSED TO HER?! Holy hell this cat has more guts than I. I sighed as I drifted into thought only to be snapped out of it by Wendy. "Yeah Wend?" I stared into blank space as I spoke "You passed out!" She kept yanking on my arm but came close and whispered "and I heard you talk about Natsu... Its okay I won't tell anyone I promise" she flashed me a smile, still persistent to yank me off the floor or to take my arm with her. I eventually gave on and stood, still holding a sleeping Happy in my arms. So adorable.
