Ella woke up to her alarm clock blaring in her ear. She groaned and rolled over slamming her hand down hard on the clock. Finally the insistent beeping stopped. She stared at the ceiling . she didn't want to get up from her warm bed and deal with the hell that they called high school. She finally got up and went to her dresser. She pulled out a long sleeve shirt and pants. She went to her bathroom and stepped on her scale.
Please let the number be smaller. Oh please I'll do anything. She thought to herself. Finally at long last she glanced down at the glowing red numbers.
How can you have gained a pound???? Ugh your disgusting you fat ass bitch. No wonder no one likes you.

Her thoughts hissed in her mind. She was horrible and fat and ugly and she knew it. How was it possible that she weighed 114? When she was on a diet? She stepped off the scale and sighed. Checking here weight was morning routine. She also did it again at night. She hated this.
Okay I'll just eat one meal today. Just one. She coached herself. Obviously two is too much. He's never gonna like me while I look like this.

Tears filled her eyes. She went back to her room and gazed into her mirror. Her long blonde hair cascaded down her back in honey blonde waives. Her blue eyes looked dull these days and her skin was pale. Two circles stood,out under her eyes, from lack of sleep. But how could she sleep when her thoughts kept her awake at night?

She put on her clothes and ran through routine putting on her makeup and styling her hair.
If only I had straight hair. If only I was tan. If only I was taller...then the worst thought of all. The one that always lurked there. If only I was thin.

She hated herself. All together and ultimate.
