   Chapter One
Ok, before we begin I just want to set the record straight, my life isn't as bad as it looks. Ok yes shit went down and now I live it on the run, but hey corrupt governments need to be fixed.

So, let's begin from the day it all went down, and of course it was my birthday.

My names Mykah Morningstar, yes that's my actual last name, I'm the proud son of Edward and Lucinda Morningstar. I'm the middle child of 5 kids, Rachel, Ryland, Lucy, and Markus. My family lives in a old Victorian home, in the middle of nowhere of England. My dad is a doctor and my mom works at the nearest gas station. So as you can tell we are quite normal.

Wait did I say normal, I actually meant the towns outcasts, and I am the blackest sheep of it all. See my family has a secret. One that runs as deep as the founding of the Gods. Both sides of my family are Mages, Wizards, and sorcerers. So yeah that's why the town hates us, because we are stains that should burn, tho we aren't the only family like this.

My best friends are Magia to. Lucas comes from a family of Librarians,  Magia capable of using grimoires and scrolls. And Morgan is from a line of Druids, Magia capable of nature magic. So yeah I'm not alone in this lonesome town. Lucas of course is the captain of the Rugby team. And Morgan is the best botanist in the school. Now what do they have anything to do with my family, simple they actually don't.

Now listen your probably thinking, "Mykah why include them if they don't matter." Well you see my eager audience, Their family's are so perfect they can past by without the looks. The reason my family are outcast is because we are to diverse. Unlike most families who have mostly one type of magical abilities, with the occasionally random ones, mine is completely all random. So Aunt Maria could be a alchemist, but her son is a warlock, and his child could be a fire mage, and so forth. It's weird to see a child who has a alignment to their parents line of magic. So yeah my name is very much used for slander and bad terms. This correlates to the town because when us kids play and our magic goes wild buildings burn or weird accidents happen.

Now enough with the family, the reason no one in my family understands me or why the town despises me is because my magic isn't even controllable or able to be decided on. This means though I show magical abilities my line of specialty is undecided or easy to fine like most. So when I lose control on my emotions, my magic takes control and wreaks chaos. Such as the time I was in class and was being beaten up by bullies, and all the sudden they had broken arms. That was nevered figured out but the beating I got for that incident hurts me to this day.

So yeah no one can like me that much because I'm just the waking Calamity to everyone. But like I was saying my life took a turn on my birthday.

In the Magia community, when a child turns 17 they end primary schooling and begin magic studies at the most glamorous school in existence, Stonehenge Academy, a place where magic is harnessed and put to good use. And I'm not kidding when I say it happens as soon as you turn 17. But enough chatter let's begin the story of how I screwed up and caused the shit show of a lifetime.

I woke up like everyday and got ready for school, threw on my uniform and brushed my teeth. As I was coming downstairs I watched the youngest, Markus, scream at Mum because he didn't have a smiley face in his toast. I walked up behind him and scared him. Making the house jolt at his scream.

"Hey, Turd stop yelling a Mum she's trying her best to keep you happy," I said tickling him, I then turned toward my Mum and said, "Morning wonderful mother, what shall you be doing while waiting to go to work."

She chuckled and looked at me and pointed her knife at me, "Well, my wonderful son, I plan on having to day off and taking you out of school so that we can have one more day together before you go off to the Academy," She looked at me with a sad face.

"Well then I guess its going to be a short one, but I have to make it through third period because of a quiz I have but afterwards go ahead," I chuckled and walked to the table.

I heard footsteps and then dad appeared in the kitchen with wet hair, "Where's the next big Morningstar professional Magia" he grins stupidly

I looked over and waved, "Man, tat kid sounds cool where is he I wanna meet him."

He chuckles, "Aaaaa a Smartass like his dad, good thing the academy beats that out of ya."

I look over and bursted out laughing, " Well then they failed cause your just the same."

Just as I finished Lucy came downstairs, "Ladies and gentlemen, get ready for a rumble for Lucky Lucy has entered the kitchen from hell."

Ok let me explain Lucy is the second to last youngest and she has an ability to always be lucky, like she has never lost or had a bad thing happen to her. So to see her limits they decided to set traps up. The kitchen being the biggest one. So when she's in better watch out for food poisoning or flying knifes. Like I said I have a crazy family.

"So loser your of to the Academy, how do you feel," She asked me curiously

I looked at the four of them and gulped. Ok confession time, I really don't wanna do magic. And it's not because I hate it. It's just I'm a wild card and I'm scared that imma hurt someone if I don't control myself. And also the fact that my ability isn't found yet, and I also tend to only flare up when I'm in emotional pain or super angry. It also doesn't help when I sense everybody's pain as well.

I stood up and bowed, pulling a fake face on " Well dear sister if I just be honest I'm feeling ready to commit to a life of magic and stability."

Everyone laughs, and then we went about doing our things. I was just about to leave before my parents came up to me.

"Mykah, we want you to know we love you and that we'll miss you," Mim started to tear up and I simply smiled and whispered,

"Someone has to be the beautiful and sexy child around here cause, Lucy sure the helm doesn't have it, and Markus is still in training."

The looked at me like I was crazy. Which of course is true cause, hey I am and I'm oroud to show it. As I was waking out Lucy ran up and gave me a hug,

"Hey loser, don't forget your guitar you'll be needing it," she whispers into my back. I smiled and went to grab it.

Ok confession, my guilty ass loves music and don't go anywhere without my guitar. You see though, the Academy is weird and I don't wanna try music if the rest of the school hates what I play. But seeing as I got all morning and until I get my letter saying I have to go, maybe I'll do some music.

I then got up and out of the house putting my satchel and guitar on either shoulder and put my earphones in. See unlike most kids and their rap I listen to classical hits, such as All Time Low and MCR. I walked to my school and waved at neighbors. But why the hell not be joyous, but sadly I must stop here. Why you ask simple, it's time for class and both in this story and from where I'm writing this. So I'll write again real soon.
