#Dylan's POV#

"RING RING RING" The bell screeched through the whole school signalling an end to another class. Everything was going great until after Drama. If your wondering why it was because I had Maths. We had a surprise pop quiz and i can assure you one thing... I was very surprised. As I exited the Mr.Douglas' English room I saw My music teacher.

"MS.LOCKWOOD!" I exclaimed running as fast as my legs could carry me. She halted in place and turned around to face me. "Oh Hey Dylan what could I do for you this fine day?" She questioned a smile on her face. I swear I have never not seen a smile on Ms.Lockwood's face.

Eveline Lockwood. My favourite teacher in this hell hole of a school by far and also my favourite cousin! She was the schools music teacher but also helped me run the school's website. She was a young women at the age of 25 with a petite frame and long blonde hair usually left down naturally. She had a heart shaped face with high cheekbones and wide green eyes.

She wore a simple pair of acid washed jeans with a white off-shoulder lace short sleeve top. On her feet she wore her worn down brown leather lace up combat boots. She had her brown satchel slung over her shoulder which was stuffed full of different books. Her hair fell naturally down both sides of her shoulders with a brown fedora hat situated on the back of her head balancing evenly. Her red lips stood out the most as did her naturally bright green eyes. She clutched her turtle cased phone in her right hand where her cherry blossom and bird tattoo sat on her wrist.

"Oh am I just wanted to ask you about the music-HOLY SHIT EVE IS THAT A NEW TATTOO?!" I exclaimed grabbing both her shoulders bringing them closer to my eyes so i could see what the new tattoo read.

"Inhale the future, exhale the past... Shit eve that's deep!" I said as i looked back up at her. A beautiful laugh escaped her mouth as she threw her head back placing her hand on her fedora making sure it didn't fall off.

"I know Dyl that's why i got it!" She stated matter of factly. "Well anyway what did you wanna ask me about the music essay?" She asked going back into to teacher mode yet still with a smile on her face.

"Oh right I was just wondering what it was on again?" I asked sheepishly cursing my forgetfulness. "Oh its just on one of your favourite musical inspirations, either in the past or now a days!" She explained smiling at me. "Oh alright thanks Ev- I mean Ms.Lockwood. Oh and I suggest you cover up the new tat don't want Mr.Larsen going bat shit crazy and firing you!" I said as I walked away earning a chuckle and a wave.

As I made my way to the cafeteria for lunch i looked out the windows of the school to see Daniel surrounded by a group of 6 guys. I came to an abrupt halt and stared out the window to see what would happen next.

One guy advanced towards him and I immediately recognized him. It was Jace. Jace swung a right hook right at Daniels face sending him to the ground cradling his cheek. My blood boiled knowing that it was my own brother bulling my twin.

I didn't think twice before turning around and racing down the first flight of stairs in the two story building. I was soon out in the courtyard to see that all the boys were getting kicks and punches in at my twin. As i advanced i heard a crack and a blood curdling scream.

I was shocked to see Jace holding Daniels face into the ground and I knew that second he had just broken his nose. That was the last straw as I ran and crouched down in front of Daniel who was curled up on the ground.

The impact of the punch was fast and hard sending me to the ground. I had just taken a punch aimed from Jace to Daniel. Gasps filled the air as i slowly got myself off the ground and leveled myself.

I looked into Jace's blue eyes which widened at the sight that stood before him. I felt the taste of coppery blood in my mouth at which i spit out. I got my hand and wiped under my nose and mouth to see my hand was no loner the colour of my skin yet the colour of red. Blood.
