Bonnie's POV
I woke up to my best friends pouring a cup of ice cold water on my face. I screamed.
" I hate you all," I rolled over and covered my face, they started to tickle me. "Uncle uncle I give I give," I said gasping between laughs. Caroline sat up she had been the one held my wrists down. She was by far the prettiest out of all of us. Unlike my tight black curls and green eyes with pale skin. She had long blonde hair, sparkling eyes, and always had a tan line. I had a heart shaped face whereas she had high cheek bones and sharp features. Sometimes I wonder why she is even friends with the like of me. In fact all my friends are better looking than me. Although, none of them had straights A's like I did. That wouldn't matter in the long run. I look down because Bre was still holding my ankles. She looks down to where my gaze landed and let go. She had wavy, auburn hair. That hung just below her shoulder blades. She had deep brown eyes. So deep you could get lost in them. She was the head cheerleader and class president. Surprised. I sure was. She isn't the stereo typical prep. In fact she isn't a prep at all. She plays so many sports I lost count. I have no idea how she does it. Then there is Lindsey. Out of all my friends she is the best. She had extremely long hair it hung down to below her knees. That is when she wore it down. She was like me in a way. Pale skin, black hair, and heart shaped face, but that is where it ends. Instead of green eyes she had deep blue eyes that were almost black. She had been the culprit that was tickling me, I smile no longer mad. I pull them in to a hug. All laughing. I get up and start to go to my closet.
"Wait, we already got you something to wear." Caroline said. I turn around. I had forgotten. Every year each of us buy a clothing item.Without showing the others what we got for the birthday girl. Sometime it looks great. Other years horrible. I took the bags and laid out the outfit on my bed. I almost cried. It was perfect. It was a long green dress, backless. There was also, a pair of high heels, see through giving the affect of lace. The most prettiest thing was a diamond necklace with matching earrings. Usually we didn't get so fancy with it but I was turning eighteen. I was the youngest. I put them on and I looked beautiful. We all walked out and I saw John standing at the bottom of the stairs we had been together since middle school. I loved him more then anything. I blushed and looked away. I still was shy around him. When I looked away I wasn't watching where I was going. I heel got caught on a loose piece of carpet. I went tumbling down the stairs. I cried out in pain. I heard screaming and yelling. Someone yelling call 911. Then there was Lindsey. She was leaning over me telling me that it would be all right, but I knew it wouldn't. A single tear dripped down her face and on my check.
"I love you Bonnie," she whispered barely audible. She wasn't one for tears. I tried to tell her I loved her too, but all that came out was a mouth full of blood. Everything went black.
