Back To The Past

Everyone team 7 ever knew was gone. Their friends, their sensei, hell even the people they only had a few conversations were gone. It was just them standing over the mangled corpse of Madara. Each of them experienced the same loss. They had to watch as all their friends and family died.

Kiba was killed by zetsu's as his pride got in the way. Shino, Ino, and Choji died from Chakra exhaustion. Hinata, Shikamaru, TenTen and Lee were killed by a tailed beast bomb and Kakashi sacrificed himself for them. Sai killed himself, saying he couldn't take it anymore. Yamato was killed by Madara himself. They all just dropped like flies. Each and everyone. They were alone now.

Sakura was breathing heavily as she wiped the blood from her face. Her dull green eyes scanned the battlefield  and landed on Naruto and Sasuke who were also panting. It was then that her adrenaline ran out and she collapsed onto her knees. "A-Are you ok, Sakura?" Naruto asked his one blue and one white eye shine with concern. "I-I'm fine Naruto just exhausted." She replied. Naruto nodded and slowly dragged Sasuke over to her.

Right when he got close enough to the pinkette he himself collapsed onto the ground, his pale eyes looking at the night sky. "What do we do now?" This time Sasuke spoke. "I-" Naruto couldn't muster up enough strength to reply as he saw the faces of his comrades and family. "I don't know." His voice was just above a whisper.

"Kit..." a weak voice called. His lips twitched up a bit. 'Kurama, your still here!' He thought. Kyuubi chuckled before nodding. "Couldn't leave you all alone now could I brat?" The fox jokes. 'Guess not, but was there something you needed?' Naruto asked as his siblings *Sasuke and Sakura* looked at him. "You could go back y'know" it was silent for a bit before Naruto jumped up.

"WHAT?!" He exclaimed loudly causing the others to jump and look at him confusingly.  "You don't have to be so loud brat!" Kyuubi yelled glaring at the boy. "Hehe sorry Kurama" Naruto said scratching the back of his head, the three sweatdropped. "What I'm saying is you could go back in time, to fix the past." The fox continued. Naruto looked deep in thought which was normal nowadays. "What's happening Naru?" Questioned Sasuke. Naruto looked at both of them, his eyes shimmering with hope. "Kura said we can..go back." He said softly.

His two teammates stared at him in shock. "Go...back?" Sakura whispered. Naruto nodded and turned away. "Its up to you guys." He said. It was silent for a bit before Sasuke spoke. "I think we should go." Sakura looked up at him. He continued, "We could try and stop the war, we could save everyone-" he cut himself off as tears welled in his eyes thinking of his comrades and his older brother, Itachi. Sakura nodded aswell. "Yeah. Let's go back." She smiled.

Naruto gave a stiff nod with a strained smile before talking again. "Well while you were figuring your answer out Kura told me about the jutsu." He said looking to see if they were following, the two nodded to the blonde boy. "The farthest we will be able to go back is the day we are assigned teams. Also, we will be stuck in our past bodies however we still have the same power we have now." They nodded again.

"However, all our scars and such will travel with us. So me and Sasuke will have a missing arm. Sakura will have her stiches, and my eye will still be blind." Making the adults look thoughtful. "Also, it will take all fo Kuramas chakra so he will take longer to get to the past since he has to respawn!" He exclaimed. "Also, we need to remove ourselves from the summoning contract." The two looked confused.

"Why" Sakura asked. "Because-" Naruto started as he sat down and started drawing a seal. "-if we don't and we go back to the past, our names will still be on the contract, so when the sannin see, they will be suspicious. " Realization dawned on them before they resigned from the contract, Naruto doing so after. (Idk if you can do that, but you can now!)

"You guys ready?" They both nodded. Naruto grabbed a hold of Sasuke with his only arm and Sakura hugged Narutos waist. "Fuuinjutsu: Time space seal!" He spoke. A bright light came over them which caused them to close their eyes.

Eventually they felt a searing pain, "damn Naruto! You never said it would hurt!" Sasuke yelled as he tried his best not to cry out in pain. "Well I'm sorry princess!" Naruto yelled back also trying not to yell out in pain. "Your so dead whe-" he was cut off as he went unconscious and disappeared  from the battlefield Naruto and Sakura right behind him.
