Backstory: Toad is a human/dragon hybrid. His father is a dragon in human form while his mother was a human. He met Mythra while she was still a core crystal and he resonated with her. When she reappeared, she had no memory of her previous driver (which is for the best right?). But when Rex showed up to gloat on how he discarded Mythra like years old moldy bread, Toad brought up the topic of how Rex had his ass handed to him by Jin. After that, he reminded Rex not to take things for granted and be humble once again.
