Chapter 3: Questions

JD and heather woke up early that morning. Heather with messy hair and JD with the same hair from the day before. They sat their chairs up and got out of the car to look around at where they were at. JD sighed at heather still questioning why she did what she did. He could see some guilt on her face but not a lot. After heather woke up in the same prom dress from last night scared that someone would notice her. JD took out his knife and handed it to Heather. With a simple sentence. We are going to fix this. He proceeded to open his truck with Veronicas clothing in it from nights where they were making out. The blue skirt and the classic shirt. JD looked away while heather changed and put her dress in the truck. And with the knife cutting her own hair giving herself bangs. JD looked at her and nodded. After looking around more and finally walking out of the woods they saw an Ihop newbie and decided to walk in. They got their seats and their coffee. JD his black and heathers dirty blonde she liked the flavor what could she say. Both ordering a very fair amount of pancakes. After the waitress brought their coffees out  JD finally asked " why'd you do it heather? Prom yesterday." He said questioning her with a caring look in his eyes. She sighed and for the first time in her life decided to cave and tell him " home life....was never good for me, my dad and mom set impossible behaviors and looks for me. Blonde hair, with confidence, and a winner of everything, when I found out I was going to loose prom queen those feelings came out and I killed them" she sighed scared that JD would see her differently. All he did was place his hand on hers and told him about his home life. How his dad was insane and how his mom had killed herself. For once in her life she found someone who understood. Their pancakes finally came out and JD and heather chatted about how they would get out of here after eating. And how JD had bought those corn nuts for her. The waitress came with the check, 26 dollars. Both of them had no cash so they went to the respective bathrooms and climbed out the windows. Heather and JD needed cash and quick. Heather had to think for a moment on how they would get cash. " I mean blackmail?" Heather said looking at him while tapping her foot. " I mean threats and robbing would work but me and you are wanted" JD said thinking. " So blackmail"
