Epilogue

Aditya's pov
3 years later....

I covered my face with a pillow when I felt warm sun rays coming through the window and turned to other side. I opened my eyes slowly and realized that Jaanvi wasn't sleeping next to me. I grabbed my phone to see the time.

8:03 am

I threw the duvet on the other side of the bed and went straight to the bathroom; after the shower I went downstairs.

"Jaanvi Jaanvi..—Savi beta where is— I stopped in the midway when I saw Jaanvi talking to someone standing by the door.

"Jaanvi is everything alright?" I asked, Calmly.

She looked over her shoulder and her eyes met mine with a hint of tears. "Dad is not feeling well...he sent Rina to inform me that he wants to meet us." She replied.

"We will go there Jaan.." I gently wiped her tears and hugged her.

After breakfast we dropped Savi to her school and then we headed to the royal haveli.

"Mr. Raizada..and princess—I mean Mrs. Raizada..please come this way.." one of the security guard led us to king's room.

As soon as we enter the room, the queen looked us and her eyes travelled to Jaanvi. She immediately walked to Jaanvi and hugged her. "I missed you my dear." Queen Rati said and Jaanvi hugged her back.

"Jaanvi.. dear.." the king said in a weak voice.

"Yes dad, I am here.." Jaanvi said taking her dad's hand.

I walked out of the room leaving Jaanvi with her family and stood by the balcony.

Jaanvi's pov

After 3 years I met my dad and mom. They apologized to me and asked me to come back to live with them.

Accepting me again after all that happened and willing to start fresh was enough for me.. because now my home was with Adi and Savi.
I suddenly look around the room and couldn't find Adi there.

"Mom...dad please excuse me.." I said before heading outside the room.

"Adi?" I tabbed his shoulder and he turned towards me.

"Why did you leave the room Adi?"

"I thought you'd like some time alone with your family..after all you are meeting them after such a long time."

"You are also a family.." I said.

"Today...the guard addressed you like a commoner..Jaanvi..I had almost forgotten that if you had never chosen me then you wouldn't had lose your royal status...Jaanvi you are a born princess and—

"—I don't care about being royal Adi.. I never did...I am more happy to be known as Mrs Jaanvi Aditya Raizada than princess Jaanvi Rajnandini Singh...and I hope you remember that how you found me..." I said with a knowing look and he smiled with teary eyes.

"Of course I remember...Ms. Avni Sharan." He held my hand and brought me closer to him.

"Ahem....I heard you both were coming here so I thought why not meet you both?" Angel di spoke.

"Di..how are you?" I asked as she walked towards me and hugged me.

"I am good Jaan..I am so glad to see you." She said releasing the hug and holding my both hand in hers with a smile.

"And you too, Adi."

"Thanks Angel.." Adi nodded with a small smile.

"This is for you two and Savi." Angel di handed an envelope before heading back.

After reaching home I opened the envelope and it contained an invitation for upcoming annual charity ball held by Angel di's family. Adi looked at the invitation card with a distant look like he was thinking about something.

"Is everything alright?" I asked caressing his arm and he nodded with smile and placed his head in my lap.

Aditya's POV

Few days later..

We all headed inside the venue when Angel came at the gate to welcome us.

Jaanvi and I stood by the balcony to see the fire works and Savi went with Angel. "Aditya is everything alright?" Jaanvi placed her hand on mine. "Yes Jaan..everything is alright." I pressed a small smile and she stared at me. "Please tell me Adi, what is it?"

"Siya and I...almost a decade ago..came to a party hosted by Angel's family..and today I don't know why I am feeling anxious." I said and she gave and understanding look. "I know...how that feels...this place was the last time I saw her.." Jaanvi replied.

"You were here?" I immediately asked.

"Yes...I didn't see you that night...as I had to leave early..but I talked to Siya di before going."she said.

"Jaanvi...Adi! Come on get inside we are going on dance floor." Angel said excitedly.

Slowly all the light were dimmed and music started to play in the background. I held Jaanvi's hand and gently pulled her close to me. And she tightened her grip on my shoulder, and I could feel her heart beating closer to mine as there were no space left between us.

"Adi...I have to tell you something." She said hesitantly. "Sure" I smiled.

"We are going to be parents soon.." my heart stopped for a moment and she looked at with hopeful eyes, waiting for my response.

"W-what!? Really?!" I almost yelled in joy and she smiled while her tear fell on her cheek. I immediately hugged her and it felt like everything stopped in that moment.
