Red eyes glowed through the foggy air, the beholder of them sighing. He had gone out to get supplies for him and the other remnants, but of course.. it began to pour. He held the bag of supplies close in order to keep them from getting wet, as he continued walking, he saw something hiding under a bush from the corner of his eye. Was someone planning on attacking him? If so, they did a bad job at hiding. He walked over to the dead bush, and saw what it was; a heterochromic cat with a small patch of black and milky chocolate fur mixed in with its sugary white fur. It was shivering from being cold and soaking wet, Izuru... had a soft spot for animals. Especially for cats. "Hey.." he murmured, getting the cats attention before it backed up a bit. "I won't hurt you." He says softly, holding out his hand to the feline. It quietly came over to him and sniffed his hand, after realizing he wasn't a threat, she licked his hand.
The male gently picked the cat up, holding it close in order to keep it warm. Poor thing... it's breathing was heavy, along with its heart pitter pattering out of its chest. He finally arrived back to the base and set the supplies down, quietly taking the cat into the bathroom. "Hold still.." he told the feline, before grabbing a towel and drying her off. Luckily, she didn't fight with him and was actually very calm. "There you go." He said, before the cat nuzzled against his hand and started purring. He pet the multicolored fur, a small smile making its way to his lips.
"I'm gonna call you Mittens."
