The Umbrella Academy : before..

SEASON ONE~ EPISODE FOUR

DOUBLE BED:
You wake up with a pounding headache, holding your head you open your eyes and you're in a double bed. Silk sheets, soft pillows, comfortable mattress. You groan. "Uhh, this bed is so comfy."
You say turning into your pillow.

"How's your head?" Someone asks.
You look down at the edge of your bed. Five is there, making a cup of coffee.
"Oh shit. I didn't realise you were still here Five.."
"Yeah I just wanted to make sure you're alright.. never time jumped before?" He asks smiling, you can tell he's amused.
"My last time jump I was...13."
"Crazy, I was 13 too when I first time jumped."
You both look at each-other and laugh.
"Uh..coffee?" Five holds out a cup of coffee to you.
"Nah, I'm good thanks. You can go back to your room." You say as you get out of the bed.
"Y/N.." he says smiling. "This is my room."
"Oh fuck sorry, I'll just go to my room then."
You walk to the door and put your hand on the met-
"Y/N..I don't think you understand." Five laughs while shaking his head.
You let go of the metal handle and look at him, you're so confused, especially because he is laughing too.
"This is your room too. Our room."

You look around, there is only one bed. One bathroom and a little mini fridge beside the microwave on a wooden table.
"B-but-" You stutter still looking around at the room.
"Yep, one double bed. The Commission cuts price's wherever and whenever they can." He says looking at the double bed. He doesn't look angry though, it's like he is used to it.
"You had to share a bed before?" You ask starting to walk away from the door.
"Nope, I work alone. The Handler just insisted I have a partner this time." He replies just before taking a sip from his coffee.                                                                                                                                                 "This is bullshit." You flop back onto the bed. "What time is it?" You look at Five.                                                 "Uh..its...8pm." he says putting down his coffee and checking his watch.                                                                  "Damn I really slept a whole day, I'm gonna get changed." You reply as you get up and head into the bathroom. When you come back out Five is laying a blanket on the floor beside the bed.

You walk to the bed slowly eyeballing Five wondering what he is doing.                                                                "Five?"                                                                                                                                                                          "Oh. Didn't hear you come out, what's up?" He says glancing at you for a moment then returning back to the blanket.                                                                                                                                                        "What are you..doing?" You say as you lift up the blanket on your bed.                                                                 "I'm setting down my blanket..to sleep on? I didn't know if you wanted to share the bed or not.."                   That's sweet, wait no. He's your partner don't think about that stuff!                                                                            "Five c'mon get up." You pat the side of the bed meant for him. "I'm not letting you sleep on the floor."                                                                                                                                                                       Five looks surprised. "I- uh.. okay then." He stands up and lifts up the blanket.                                                       "Why do you look so surprised? I'm actually really nice!" You joke.                                                                                    "Haha hard to believe."                                                                                                                                               "That's what I thought about you, but letting me sleep on the bed? What a gentleman!" You know it would make him annoyed by saying that, you cant wait for the reaction.                                                            "Shut up trainee." He claps back, he knew that would annoy you too.                                                                   "Oh and helping me to the hotel after I black out? Such a man!"                                                                          "Yeah no problem." He turns around and looks at you. "You're adorable in your sleep." He grins and turns back around, you can tell he was holding in his laughter after his own comment. He knew that would push you over the edge and he was correct.

You lie there angry, but you couldn't think of anything else to say..
