"I can't believe you're ghosting him

"I can't believe you're ghosting him. I know he can be a bit annoying sometimes, but that's harsh even for you, Tony," Gwen chastised the billionaire while resting on his couch after a long training session of krav maga with a personal trainer Tony hired.

She was supposed to be training with Natasha, but after the Civil War fiasco - as she liked to call the event that occurred the year prior between her older best friend and her uncle's doppelganger - the red-haired spy assassin disappeared. The blonde teenager suspected that it might have something to do with the Red Room, but she wasn't crazy to look into it.

"I'm not ghosting him!" The Iron Man whined defensively.

"Yes, you are," retorted Happy, his bodyguard, Roxy, his girlfriend, and Pepper, his assistant, in unison.

"Et Tu, Roxy?! You're supposed to be on my side!"

The blonde rolled her eyes. "I'm your girlfriend, Tony, not your lawyer. You're totally leaving the boy hanging. If you don't want to send him on missions, at least tell him that and end his suffering."

"The kid doesn't stop texting me," pointed out Happy, who brought a bottle of water for Gwen, "I've no idea how to answer him."

"You could at least offer him some training, prepare him," suggested Pepper. "There's no harm in that."

"What's the point of giving him a new suit if he won't get to use it?" Continued Gwen. "If I knew it was going to waste, I wouldn't have spent so much time helping you with it."

Tony scoffed as he fetched a drink.

"You were bored, kid. That's why you helped me. Not because I needed it, nor because of the goodness of your heart- hey!" He whined as Roxy took his drink from his hand and replaced it with a mug of coffee.

"It's eight, Tony. Time for coffee, not for a drink."

"Have you at least told him about the moving?" Gwen asked him.

She earned silence.

"Don't you have to leave already, Gwen?" Asked Pepper, trying to break the awkward mood that settled, "Happy will take you, so you can take a shower and change without being late for class."

"Thanks, Pep." The blonde rose from her seat, took Tony's coffee from him - ignoring his protests - and gulped a bit of the liquid before heading to the guest room she uses at the Avengers' Tower when she's too lazy to go back to her apartment.

Upon reaching her room, she felt a phone buzz from the living room, followed by Tony's groan. "Stop ghosting him!" She projected her voice and went into the shower.

Forty minutes later, Happy left Gwen in front of Midtown School of Science and Technology, wishing her a nice day and speeding off the place not to be spotted by a certain Peter Parker.
