2. Everyone's Perspective

The sun is blinking trough the curtains of my windows. They are tickling my face softly. I smile slightly. My eyes are opening and see the light outside my window. I feel a bit better than the day before. Not perfect but better. I am over the 'break up' now. I slowly stand up and stretch my whole body with such relief. I started my morning routine. Eat breakfast, brush my teeth, get dressed and pack up my bag. Then I walked to school. As I enter the schoolyard I recognize a big group of students crowding in front of the information board. I look in confusion.

"Must be something important... Ah sh*t... I forgot to check my mails yesterday..."

I rush over to the board. As everyone notice me they step aside. I smile slightly and looked at the informations.

"Homosexuality study"

"Oh... That is the reason no one mentioned it in front of me..."

While I turn around I growl in annoyance. I'm not that much of a fan of homosexuality. I think the evelution had its reason to let us become male or female... Hate me for my thoughts but it is as it is. Two genders to create new generations. But okay... Everyone should believe in their own opinions... Still I'm getting sick of this thoughts that a male loves a male or a female loves a female...

I went into the building to the auditorium where the "Homosexuality study" will be held. I take my seat as far away from this sh*t as it is possible. Some minutes passed by. All the other students arrive. To my surprise Zero Kurosawa as well. Maybe he had maths or physics and was now forced to attend... I don't care...

He took his seat with some distance to me. We are both the only students in the highest row which made it a bit awkward. Zero leans back and observed everything in interest. Like he really wanted to be here. I look at him with a confused expression on my face. He noticed it and turned around to look at me.

"Whatcha lookin'...?"

"Why are you attending this cr*p? And... Are you really interested in this nonsense?"

"Nonsense? What nonsense? Whatcha talkin' about Shorty?"

"'Homosexuality study'? Wait... Didn't you knew what's this all about?"

He looks at me with big eyes.

"Not exactly. Ma teacher told me about a physics further education... Bastard..."

He sighs and leans back again. He crossed his arms in front of his chest. Didn't he noticed the informations at the black board? He is so strange...

"Test! Test! One, two, three!" it is echoing through auditorium.

A man,maybe 25 years, is standing at the podium and trys to fix his microphone. He looks at us with a smile on his face.

"Now I think everyone is here. Hello everyone. I'm Ethan Harper. I'm the host of this further education session. The theme of today is "homosexuality in daily life". I guess you all think: 'Why do we have to attend to a session like this one?' Well... As the time is passing, it is also bringing up new things as well. New things we are not used to or we don't want to accept. It is not natural. Old valued things are perfect as they are. New things are not acceptable. Well... Sure some things a better than improved once but we all have to be open for new opportunities. Not only for our sexual interests. For everything what is in store for us. With this session I want achieve two goals. The first one is intended for all of you, which are hetero. I want to get you close to this theme. And at the end of this I hope you all respect the interests of those who are interested in the same gender which brings me to my second goal: For all those who are scared or embarrassed to out themselves as gay or lesbian. You all don't have to. It is not a crime to be interested in the same gender. I hope after this you accept yourself and get the courage to love yourself as you are."
