"Holy shit!" Fruit said under his breath. He managed to get out of a pit hoglins, leaving his hunter behind.

All he could here was hoglins screaming, either in pain, or satisfaction of having a new target to kill. He didn't look back to see, he didn't even want to. He spotted a bastion after a few minutes of running and parkour. He couldn't hear Illumina's footsteps behind him, but he knew he was watching him, waiting for the moment to strike. He kept running towards the ruined structure, already feeling tired and out of breath.

"Ow! Piece of shit.." he cursed after tripping on a piece of blackstone that was out of place. Fruit felt the pain come over him as he tried getting up, sounds of footsteps coming closer. He grabbed his sword, expecting to be met with the familiar ninja. But instead, it was just an angry piglin. He sighed in relief as he quickly killed it, not having any gold to trade with the pig-like creature anyway.

He looted almost every chest in the bastion, constantly stressed and on high alert. After he was done, he turned towards a huge lava lake. Sounds of lava popping and it's heat under him made him feel yet again uncomfortable, it was always too hot here. It's the nether, what the fuck was I expecting?

Looking around, he started to bridge his way through the giant lake, making sure Illumina wasn't there to shoot him off. Speaking of Illumina, Fruit hadn't seen him since their little skirmish with the hoglins. Did the hoglins actually manage to kill him? Or did he just lose him? No, Fruit was being tracked everywhere he went, there was no way Illumina could lose him. His head snapped up as he heard something, no, someone, fall. His anxiety came back faster than Tommy getting exiled.

Fruit jumped off his scuffed bridge, almost missing and falling to his fiery death. Because of his fear, he didn't perfect his landing, he seemed more like a child accidentally falling off of a building, not that he's know what that looks like. Munching on some bread and healing himself, he quickly ran in a random direction, eventually landing in a Soul Sand Valley. The sand under him made him feel faster, suddenly giving him the energy to run that he just lost. An arrow inches away from his feet made him jump, looking around with wide, terrified eyes, ready to see his enemy. Instead, what he found was a skeleton that was reloading its weapon, getting ready to shoot him again.

"Jesus Christ, give me a break..." He groaned before running away from the monster, not wanting to risk it shooting him. He noticed a hooded figure move in the corner of his eye. Instinctively, he looked at where they were, only to find nothing. He didn't imagine it. He couldn't have!

"Oh Illumina..." He called out his name, wanting a reaction from his psychotic hunter. After not getting any reaction, he frowned and kept looking for the godforsaken fortress. He spent the next hour searching, his anxiety increasing at every passing minute. Finally, he found it. Jackpot!

Running over to the building, he thought he heard something get hurt from falling, but he decided not to pay any attention to it. If it was Illumina, would he have already shown himself to Fruit? Climbing the walls of the fortress was a lot more difficult than it seemed, especially when he could've just dug his way in, or placed some dirt under him and got up that way.

He quickly got out his diamond sword that he found in his third bastion, and started slaughtering every wither skeleton that blocked his path. He soon found the blaze spawner, already filled with three blazes, ready to burn him. As he stepped closer, he heard the sound of an axe slowly scraping the floor behind him. He quickly turned around, seeing a tall, hooded figure, holding a diamond axe covered with blood.
