Fred had delivered his most sincere apology to everyone, and like Blair, almost everyone had forgiven him instantly. Everyone except Ron. He held a grudge for a while, muttering about how he shouldn't just get to say sorry and be done with it, but this was Ron's way. There hadn't been an argument that he and Blair had had that he hadn't held onto for a little while after apologies had been dealt out.

Fred had spent the rest of the day, and the evening, whispering to George and Hermione, running around the house and trying to pull things together for his date with Blair. Of course, he absolutely wanted no help from Blair as he wanted it to be a surprise. Blair had spent the day with Ginny, Harry and Ron sat in Ron's room.

Ron had still been muttering about his fight with Fred up until Ginny whipped around and sternly told him to "drop it or I'll drop you," Ginny's threats of violence were always listened to. There had been many a time when her brothers had received a beating from Ginny as they were teasing her, or doing something to annoy her. Therefore, they all listened when she gave them warning; and Ron was silent about Fred from that point on.

Harry had been stealing glances at Ginny as the four of them killed time upstairs. Glances that almost went unnoticed, but Blair could feel it. She could feel how much Harry wanted to sit next to Ginny, as close as he could, and hold her hand. She could feel how much he longed to be near her.

"Ron," Blair said suddenly, pouting her bottom lip out, "will you please please please brush my hair?" Ron let out a loud groan and threw his head back. He hated brushing her hair. It was one of Blair's favourite things, and had always been something to calm her down since she was child. Usually when they were little she would have to win a game, or a bet in order to get Ron to sit down and brush her hair. But with the way Harry was looking at Ginny, she thought this would be the perfect way to let him get close to her without it being obvious to Ron.

"Oh come on please," Blair begged but Ron was still whining about how he couldn't be bothered. "Oh please Ron, you'll be my very best friend in the whole world, please," Blair wrapped her arms around Ron's shoulders from the back and mushed her face next to his.

"Why do I have to? Why can't Harry brush your hair?" Ron moaned and Blair squeezed a little tighter. "Harry can brush Ginny's hair, please Ronald!" Blair moaned and moaned until Ron finally gave in. He grumbled a little, not understanding why Harry couldn't brush her hair, but soon enough, Blair was lying flat on the floor in front of Ron as he gently brushed through her long hair.

Although he moaned about it, she knew that Ron loved brushing her hair. He always had. He found it as relaxing as she did. He would drag the brush gently over her scalp, giving Blair goose bumps, and then watch, completely fixed, as he would pull the brush effortlessly through the rest of her hair. He would do the same action over and over again until one of them was asleep. Harry was sitting behind Ginny and brushing her long auburn hair as they spoke gently to each other.

Quite different from the completely platonic relationship of Blair and Ron. Blair was completely star fished on the floor with her hair going every direction as Ron sat behind her head with his legs crossed. He would brush it, and then pick up small sections and begin to plait them. Then he would use his fingers to loosen the plaits and run the brush through them until they were completely gone.

"I could actually marry you," Blair said lazily as her entire body melted into the floor. Ron chuckled a little as Harry and Ginny looked over at her. "Don't worry Ronnie," Blair said with a sigh, "I know you wouldn't marry me, you would much rather brush Hermione's hair," she teased and Ron pulled her hair a little making Blair yelped and laugh as she lifted her head and looked at him.
