Chapter 7 : 💰

It had been three days since he had his "date" with Areum.
At least that's what he likes to call it.
she gave him ride home after their breakfast together, he hadn't seen her since.

He stayed by his phone checking it every hour hoping Areum would call or text him.
But, she didn't.

He hoped it wasn't the steamy session they had that's keeping her away.
Jimin actually enjoyed it, maybe too much?
Let's just say it was good Fap material these days.

Another thing he noted was his ongoing nightmares.
He Has not had a nightmare for years but when he had slept over Areum's he had one.
He was successful in blocking out his ruined childhood, but something about Areum made him think of his mother before she turned into a crazy drug addict.

He would never say he hated his mother, he just wished things had turned out different.
That he was shown love and attention as a child so he didn't have to seek it in others.

He tried listening to music before bed and meditation but, nothing worked. Jimin would wake up in cold sweat with his heart thumping like crazy.

That's actually what he was going through right now.
He took a warm shower and even drank some warm milk hoping it would help.
But he couldn't sleep.
"Just go to sleep"
Jimin said, hitting his head with his cool pillow.
He felt like crying.

Why couldn't things go his way for once.
He tried to think of what made him calm.
Jimin liked baking, the sound of rain, and sweet smells.

But the thing that his mind kept going to was Areum.
With a grunt Jimin rolled over, grabbing his phone.
He needed to at least hear Areum's voice.
Maybe then he could get some shut eye.

(Ring ring)
Jimin felt his hands sweat at the ring.
What if Areum didn't want to talk to him.
Was he acting needy?
But, all worries vanished when he heard her voice.

"Hello?"
Jimin let out a breath of air he didn't even know he was holding in.

"Hello Areum it's-it's Jimin"
Jimin stuttered, hoping she didn't already forget about him, he sure as hell hadn't stopped thinking about her.

"Oh hey Jimin, why are you calling so late?"
Areum looked at her clock on her side table, rubbing her dozy eyes.

Jimin thought about it for a moment, he was scared she was going to hang up if he didn't say something so he blurted out the first thing that came to his mind.

"Tomorrow at that cat cafe near the park, meet me their at 1 o'clock"
Jimin mentally face palmed him self when he heard her yawn on the other end of the call.
She was going to reject him.
Of course she was, who Would want to hang out with-

"You called me late at night, stutter and all to ask me out on a date?, at a cat cafe?"
Areum smirked at the whine on the other end of the phone, Jimin was too cute.
Areum herself was having the three days pretty rough, deadlines after deadlines were what her days consisted of, so hearing Jimin's voice was definitely a highlight of her week.

"Well..well you wouldn't call me back so I had to do it myself, so be ready at 1 tomorrow"
Jin stomped his foot on his bed like the little brat he is.

Areum laughed.
"Cocky of you to think I'd agree, I have plans tomorrow anyway"
She giggled at the gasp on the other end of the call.

Jimin felt his heart drop, he had to see her soon, he just had too.
"Really?"
Jimin held his breath.

"Yea, some brat asked me out on a date to a cat cafe"
Areum smirked, Jimin was to cute not to tease, she could already see his face right at that moment, probably all scrunched up, pouty lips and all.

Jimin felt his heart beat again.
" at 1, don't forget"
He reminded.

"At 1, goodnight Jimin"
Areum reconfirmed, ending the call.

Jimin looked at the phone in shock, making sure the call ended, before squealing in his pillow.

At 1, he was finally gonna see Areum at 1.
