"fuck!" I curse to myself after the toothpaste I put on my toothbrush slipped right off.

With a huff, I reapply the toothpaste and start to brush my teeth as I ponder off about my plans for today.

Currently on the list of my plans: nothing.

Well I do have to go to the cemetery. It's my mother's death anniversary.

I miss her so much. She was my rock. Literally kept me from falling apart and ending it many times. When I found out she passed, I almost passed out. I felt like I lost a part of me — that emptiness is yet to be filled, though, I don't think it ever will be. A part of me, only my mother could fill. It was always amazing to know that I'd have someone unconditionally love me all the time, though now I don't have that.

Well, I have my bestfriend Niall, but that's different.

I always think about how I wish it was me instead who got taken away from Earth that day.

After putting on my plain, oversized, black t-shirt with a random band name written across it, some baggy dark blue jeans and a black bucket hat to top it off, I head over to my kitchen.

I quickly smear some Nutella on 4 slices of bread and munch on it while scrolling through my phone.

Big news that's buzzing around is that there's been a UFO sighting and everyone is talking about it. It makes me scoff. This is honestly such bullshit. People believe everything they see on the internet.

Oh and it looks so edited. Like if you're going to make a fake picture of a UFO sighting to scare and fascinate people, at least make it realistic looking.

Some other big — more scary news, is that there's a serial killer on the loose. No one knows how he looks like though.
,
Terrifying stuff.

As I'm walking down the sidewalk, I think about  that serial killer. It's been on my mind since I heard about it earlier this morning. It could literally be anyone on walking on this very sidewalk..

I see a floral shop just a couple stores down. I could get some for my mum.

As I enter the floral shop, I see a whole lot of beautiful different flowers, oh, and another fellow human that's not the cashier. The man's jawline is very sharp, probably could cut my finger, his side profile is perfect too. He's so attractive, and I haven't even seen his whole face yet. Anyways, the shop is very small but has a lot of flowers considering the size.

I look around the shop, trying to find some roses because they were my mum's favourite kind of flowers.

Roses, spotted. Though, that perfect male with a perfect side profile and jawline is picking some out himself. Therefore, I decide to wait. I'm standing only a few feet away from the man, awkwardly looking around the shop filled with flowers.

"Want me to move over pretty lady?" He asks, a british accent drowning his words. I jerk my head towards him so fast. Now, I get a better look at him. He has tattoos scattered all over his arms, piercing vibrant green eyes, muscular — well built, long hair that is parted on the side which actually looks like he's just thrown to the side — I can go on and on about this man, and if I'm being honest, he's the most attractive man I've ever laid my eyes on.

"Oh no. It's okay, I'll wait till you're done." I replied with a light smile.

He looks like he's seen God himself right now.

Oh no, have I done something wrong?

"You're the prettiest lady I've ever laid my eyes on." He compliments. The sweet flattering remark making me blush heavily.

That's why he looked like he's just realized he can walk on water or something.

"I could say the same about you too, minus the fact that you're not a lady." I say with a light giggle at the end of my sentence. Which it makes him giggle too.

"Say, what's your name?" He cutely asks while tilting his head off to the side slightly.

"Sage." I answer his question. "and what's your name?"

"I'm Harry." He smiles. I return the smile as he moves over so I can pick out some roses for my mum.

Once I get a whole bouquet of roses, I look back at Harry who was watching me with those beautiful green eyes. "It was nice meeting you. I have to go now" I smile to be polite, but not wanting to waste anymore time.

"Who are those flowers for?" He asks instead. Ignoring the fact that I said I need to head out.

"My mum." I didn't want to waste anymore time here, I'm getting impatient.

That's one thing I always struggled with, my impatience. My mum was also impatient so I guess it runs in the family.

"Oh. Where is she?" He asks, continuing the conversation that I want out from.

"She's laying underground in a cemetery." I stare at him with a bored, straight face.

He seems to be somewhat shocked — considering the way his facial expression changed immediately into a surprised one.

His jaw dropped to a slight extent, allowing me to see his adorable bunny teeth which I've already come to love. His eyes have also opened up, aswell as his eyebrows have jumped up in result of this new information that I've just thrown at his face.

"So that's why you look familiar..." He mumbles. Probably not wanting for me to hear it.

Guess what bitch? I heard it.

But what does he mean by 'I look familiar'? I know I haven't meant Harry before.

Oh well.

"Mind if I go now?" I ask because he looks too in shock to say anything.

I wonder why he seems so in shock just because my mum is dead though.

He looks down at the tiled floor, and moves over for me to let me access the path to the cashier.

I pay for the roses, and Harry just watches me do so while standing in the same position as he was earlier — when I walked away from him.

To be able to exit this shop, I need to walk past Harry which makes me mentally groan.

As I'm walking past him, he catches my attention by speaking again.

"Hey- um- here." He sticks his arm out towards me. Laying in the middle of his palm is a small, white, folded piece of paper.

"What's is it?" I ask. I genuinely had no clue what that paper was.

"Just take it." is all that comes out of his mouth before I'm bringing my hand out to collect the tiny piece of paper from his hand.

He presses his lips into a line as he digs his hands into the front pockets of his jeans.
I give him a slight nod trying to hide some of the awkwardness between us.

I turn back, heading towards the door to exit again.

And just like that, I'm off to my mum.

About time.
