As soon as the doors open I made eye contact with a familiar pair of green eyes. I couldn't even move.

"Are you going to get on?" Harry chuckled.

"Right," I replied awkwardly.

I stepped onto the elevator and pressed floor
number 43. I noticed that number 44 was pressed already. I looked down so I wouldn't make eye contact with Harry and walked to the back of the elevator. As the floors slowly started to raise in number, Harry filled the awkward silence, "I guess this means we're neighbors at work too."

I let out a small laugh, "I guess so."

"How come I haven't seen you here?" I asked.

"I usually come in an hour earlier but I got kind of a late start this morning," He replied.

"Oh," I said.

Oh? Is that all you have to say you dumb ass?

The elevator filled with silence again until it was interrupted from the ding of the elevator, notifying me that we had arrived at my floor.

"I'll see you around Harry," I said as I walked out of the elevator.

He gave me a small smirk and a nod as he disappeared behind the closing doors.

When I arrived home from work I immediately changed out of my uncomfortable professional attire into a pair of pajama shorts and another old t-shirt. T-shirts we're sort of my go to.

I went to the kitchen and decided I would cook some pasta for dinner tonight.

I started to boil some water and grabbed some penne pasta from the pantry. As soon as the water was brought to a boil I dumped in the pasta and started a timer.

I went to grab some tomatoes out of the fridge so I could start on the sauce yet discovered I didn't have any.

"You've got to be kidding," I said to myself.

Well I already dumped in the pasta so my only option is to eat some plain noodles. Yum.

Or, you could go see if Harry has any.

Oh god.

I gave it some thought and it was either plain noodles for dinner or I go ask Harry.

Dammit you're really doing this aren't you?

Unfortunately yes.

I took the pasta off the burner for now and turned off the gas. I took a quick look in the mirror before I left to make sure I didn't look like a mess after a days worth of being everybody's personal assistant at work.

I walked out my door and walked to the one immediately to my left. I stared at it for a good thirty seconds and gave it three solid knocks.

After waiting for about thirty more seconds I figured he wasn't home so I went to turn back to my apartment to eat my plain ass noodles. But when I took a step back I heard the door open.

"Erin?" I heard a deep voice ask.

"Oh! You're home!" I replied.

Oh again? Come on.

"Um, yes?" he said.

"I was just wondering if you have any tomatoes? I'm making pasta and I don't have tomatoes to make the sauce," I replied.

"Um. I'm not sure. Here come on in, let's check," he said while making a gesturing motion with his hand.

Holy shit his hands are huge.
