The Crows Omen
The mans a crow and he transforms into a flock of crows to warn people. If you don't know, there's a crow omen that goes off of how many crows you see (in an area where crows are uncommon), though the ideas vary.
1 for death 2 for mirth 3 for marriage 4 for birth 5 for silver 6 for gold And 7 for a secret never to be told
I think it's goes up to like 17 or smth I'm not sure, but look it up it's kinda cool. It's also kinda cool since Philza IS a crow and one singular crow represents death, meaning his presence radiates power in general, enough to kill you B)
