CHAPTER 2: It's Time to Travel to the Best or Worst Trip?

"What happened, baby?" Nag-aalalang tanong ni Mommy sa akin, kaya agad akong tumayo. Naglakad ako na parang walang nangyari at inaalala kung anong klaseng bagay ang sumagi sa isip ng biglaan.

"Nothing, Mommy." I uttered while continuing to walk upstairs and straightly went into my room. Napailing na lang ako upang hindi na isipin yung sumagi sa isip ko kanina.

Instead of remembering what came into my mind out of the blue, nag-impake na ako ng mga gamit ko sa isang maleta na kulay pink. I also put inside the diary that I named after Tim.

When I finished packing my things, I also went to changes my clothes. I wore simple faded jeans na fitted, pink crop top sweater, and a pair of sneakers that my dad gave me as a present for my 18th birthday, simple lang yung natatanggap kong regalo because I'm not into luxurious types of parties & events and when it comes to things.

Tinulungan akong bumaba ng isa sa mga security personnel by carrying my luggage downstairs.

"I'm ready!" Sigaw ko while walking towards daddy na busy na magbasa ng newspaper. Nauna yata itong nag-impake kaya wala nang inaalala.

"Good, baby. Let's just wait for your mom and your brother." Dad responded without even looking at me or laying eyes on me. Sanay na ako kaya tahimik na lang akong nag-scroll sa feed ko sa Instagram.

A few minutes after, Kuya Terrence also went downstairs carrying a light backpack.

"Kuya, yan lang ang dadalhin mo?" I asked him after seating sa isang sofa sa tapat ko.

"Ahm yea. I don't need many clothes, just like you, parang lalayas ka na yata." He coldly stated. I furrowed my eyebrows after hearing his longest word of the day.

"Ang liit ng dala ko, is it that too many for you? Palibhasa kasi tamad ka." He just stared at me and put his eyes on his tablet after wearing his wireless headphone. Kahit kelan talaga.

Nakababa na rin si Mommy. As usual, she left words of security sa mga kasambahay namin as she always do. Agad na rin kaming nagtungo sa sasakyan na gagamitin namin sa pagpunta sa sinasabi ni dad.

Habang nasa loob kami ng sasakyan papunta sa lugar kung saan kami gustong dalhin ni daddy ay hindi parin maalis sa isip ko ang nangyari kani-kanina lang, it's too weird lang kasi. A car just exploded while being upside down, what was that?! It can be serendipity, or I'm just overthinking? I just sighed and did not imagine things na imposible naman sigurong mangyari.

Buong byahe akong natahimik kakaisip dahil hindi talaga ako mapakali at matigil-tigil kakaisip ng mga bagay na ayaw ko rin namang mangyari, and my picture, ahh nevermind.

"Hey kiddo, why so silent this time? Nakakapanibago." Basag ni Kuya Terrence sa katahimikan. He's bored kaya mang-iinis na naman yata.

"I'm not a kiddo. And this is out of your business, maglaro ka na kaya?" I replied.

"Okay, kiddo." he said in return before going back to his game. Hindi na ako nag-abala pang sumagot kaya pinikit ko na lang ang mata ko, ayokong masira ang araw na'to dahil lang sa mga kung anu-anong naiisip ko.

He had no stopovers dahil sanay na kami sa byahe, and we have snacks to consume being reaching the place we're going to.

Makalipas ng tatlong oras na byahe ay narating na daw namin yung venue. Okay, I am really an easy-guessing person. I saw my brat cousin and her family, so this is a reunion. I stepped outside the car and pulled my luggage with me papunta sa isang malaking pavilion. I bet, Ashy arranged this venue. She is a very good event coordinator kaya alam ko na she is behind those elegant and luxurious design. With touches of gold sa white, and some chandeliers na talaga namang gugustuhin mong titigan ng matagal, it's almost perfect.
