"You think I'm hot?" Bailey scoffed as she sat cross legged on a bench with Ben.
"Yes and I'm not lying because I'm your friend you are genuinely hot," Ben replied sitting beside her with his body twisted to face her.
They were sat on a useless blue bench that someone had decided to nail to the floor in the hallway for no apparent reason. It was useful for skipping lessons though as a place to chill out ten minutes before the bell outside their friends' classes.
"Yeah sorry but I dont trust that statement."
"You want me to prove it?" She nodded with a small smile. "When that bell goes in..." he checks his phone. "Less than two minutes I want you to walk up to the nearest guy and start flirting with him."
"How is that gonna prove anything?"
"You'll see."She thought this over for a moment in her head before saying: "Alright I'm intrigued. Bet."
They shook on it.
The bell rang sharply through their ears and the sound of chairs scraping and bashing against tables could be heard behind classroom doors.
"People are coming out now," Ben announced the obvious as kids filed out into the hall to attend to their lockers. "Go grab the nearest one."
"Huh-" Bailey exclaimed before she was shoved into the crowd.
She saw a tall boy like firgure standing with his head in his locker and his back to her.
Putting on her best flirtatious smile and flipping her hair to one side, Bailey reached out and tapped his shoulder lightly.
"Hey, cutie," she smiled as he turned to look at her.
Hayden turned, looked her up and down then bit his lip before replying to her: "Sup gorgeous."
He leant casually against his locker so he could admire her.
Bailey's face paled slightly but she remained in character, not letting him notice her unease.
"Why not fuck with his head a little?" Her subconscious suggested and she liked this idea.
"What are your plans looking like this summer?" she asked placing a hand on her hip.
"I plan on doing something...or someone. Haven't quite decided on the latter yet.""Ew ew ew ew ew why is the way he looking at me while saying that make him look incredibly attractive." She thought internally cringing in disgust.
"I know there will be plenty of pool parties being thrown," Bailey continued absent mindedly brushing his arm with her fingertips. "Hopefully I'll see you there. You're not afraid of the water are you?"
"Dont mind getting a little wet every once and awhile.""Woah that took a turn," she thought.
"I'll see you around then," she said wrapping up the conversation and walked back to the bench, purposefully making her hips bounce a little as she went and Hayden's eyes went straight to her ass.
"Holy fuck," Ben breathed. "I was preparing to throw some fists but that went the complete opposite to what I expected."
"Shut up, I hated every second of that," Bailey growled sitting down.
"Then why'd you do it."
"Thought I'd fuck with his head a little you know."
"Why?"
"Just for fun."
"You're sick."
"I guess being hot has its perks."They laughed out loud as the hallways began to become less busy.
Ben's laughter suddenly died and he muttered: "your screw buddy looks pissed."
"What?" She glanced behind her and saw Maxx stalking over to them wearing an irritated expression.
"Hey, baby," Bailey smiled standing up to greet him. "You ok?"
