Draco stared at Harry with such intensity, the raven haired boy felt as if he would melt. Everyone seemed to move on after Harry whispered, "Pansy truth or dare?"
The girl seemed to snap out of her own haze and mutter a quick dare, and Harry simply dared her to kiss Blaise. He couldn't think properly, couldn't breath. He began to pick at the lose threat in his shirt and unravel it.
He needed a drink.
Standing from his position, he grabbed a bottle of fire whisky and left the room of requirement. He made his way to the astronomy tower, bottle in hand, swigging it as he went.
The view was starry that night, thousands of small glows beaming down at Harry. He stood at the edge and decided maybe he should crawl onto the roof. In his drunken state, he swung over the railing and crawled to the roof. With bottle in hand he finished the last drop and let it fall to the ground 500 feet below him.
Harry wasn't sure how long he stayed there, alone. He counted stars and giggled to himself. It wasn't until a blurry blonde figure was leaning over him did he snap out of his state.
"Draco?" Harry slurred. The boy was beautiful, grey eyes and sharp features. Harry thought he must be dreaming.
"Harry, come on. You're drunk. You can't be up here." The beautiful boy whispered.
"Mmm no..don't make me leave."
"Come on Harry." Draco yanked him up, causing Harry to almost vomit.
"Oh come on, are you really that drunk?"
The words came out funny, they sung in the air around his ear. Was this real? Was Draco always this beautiful?
"Come..talk with me.." Harry hiccuped. And so, Draco sat.
"Potter are you drunk? Like how drunk?"
"I don't know mom, you tell me!" Harry laughed. "You know I never met my mother."
"I know Harry"
"Or my father"
"I know Harry"
"But I know you. What are the chances of that?"
Draco was silent. "Out of all the people in this world. I met you. And I fell-fell in *hiccup* love with you. Isn't that *hiccup* crazy?"
"You're drunk Harry you don't know what you're saying.." Draco replied. He ran a hand through his messy hair and hoisted Harry up onto his feet. With a flick of his wrist, he acciod his broom.
Draco hoisted Harry up on the broom, then followed suit. He held Harry with one hand on his stomach, the other on the broom. "Hold on, Potter." He whispered and off he went.
Harry could feel the wind in his hair, his eyes closed, he could feel it bristle his nose and cheeks, and feel the warmth of Draco on his back. Harry didn't know how long they flew, but he certainly sobered up. They landed with a thud back on the ground.
"Come back with me" Harry pleaded. He felt pathetic, standing in front of the brooding boy. "Just for the night, then you can say goodbye, you'll never have to see me again."
"Are you stupid?" Draco questioned. "What makes you think I'd never want to see you again?"
Harry's heart fluttered in his chest. "Come" Draco said, pulling harry by the hand through the halls of Hogwarts.
The halls were dark, as they trudged down to the dungeons. Dimly lit, with the portraits stirring in their sleep at the light of Draco's wand. Harry didn't seem to mind as he giggled a bit, Draco's hand soft in his. When they reached his room, Draco unlocked it and pushed harry in. "What a stunt you pulled today." He growled at him.
