Before this chapter starts I just want to say Trigger warning for abuse!

It was the morning after the whole 'soup bucket' incident, Arizona had sent Amelia many text messages but there was never any response, She had to assume it was because of the almost kiss they would've shared.

She walked her way over to the washroom of her house, While washing her face she heard her phone ring, She looked over to see a message from Amelia.

She gasped reading it, Arizona swore she could cry at this point.

Amelia: Please Stay Away From Me.

She dropped her phone completely, Arizona felt her heart sink and tears fall from her eyes, She didn't wanna go to school anymore knowing Amelia didn't want her near her anymore.

That was until she noticed something odd and different about the text, Amelia never texted an uppercase letter for every word nor did she ever have perfect punctuation... Something was off and Arizona knew it.

Amelia: Please Stay Away From Me.

Arizona: amelia I know this isn't you...

Arizona didn't know what to do about this, She wanted a distraction to take this off her mind for a second, She threw her clothes off and hopped into the shower, As the water ran down her head, to her nose, to her chin, to her shoulders, to her stomach, to her feet, She couldn't stop thinking.

Arizona rushed through the hallways of school, Determined to see that one familiar face, But Amelia was no where to be seen, Absolutely no where...

Arizona didn't give up looking for her before first period started though, She ran through the hallways looking and looking, She ran into someone, It was Mrs Bailey, She was holding coffee walking around the halls and Arizona had just made her spill it all over her.

"Oh- Oh my gosh I'm so sorry Mrs Ba-" Arizona started, "Whats the rush for Arizona?" Mrs Bailey raised her eyebrow, "I- Do you happen to know if Amelia Sh-Shepherd is here today?" Arizona stuttered biting the inside of her cheek, She was concerned about Amelia.

"Is everything alright honey?" Bailey asked worriedly whilst setting the empty cup of coffee on the floor to hug Arizona, "Y-yeah I-I just don't know if she's okay-" Arizona gasped.

"I-I'm really worried" Arizona began quivering, "And god- I know Its stupid but- I-I can't go a d-day without seeing her face It just- It makes me s-smile" Mrs Bailey hugged her tighter.

"It's okay honey- I'm sure shes just fine at home" Mrs Bailey reassured her, Arizona was still worried.

Once it reached lunch time, Arizona had decided to leave early, She couldn't take the feeling that Amelia was in danger anymore, She needed to talk to her, She needed to make sure she was okay.

April had lended Arizona her car since Arizona didn't have one at the moment, Arizona ran out the doors of the school and hoped into April's black BMW.

She knew exactly where Amelia's house was, 6th house on the second block, The house that always stood out from the others since Amelia's bright red convertible sat outside the garage.

Arizona had to focus on the road, She could barely focus though, She needed to make sure Amelia was okay.

She arrived to her destination.. 6th house on the second block, Arizona slowly stepped up the steps, Made her way onto the porch, She hesitated before ringing the doorbell.
