Shoto's POV:
It's my birthday in about a week, I'll be 14 and will finally know who my soulmate is..if I even get one.. hopefully it's a girl or else father won't be pleased. I'm in school at the moment and I'm listening to my teacher. There are kids looking at me weird but one in particular is nonstop looking at me. I'm guessing it's just my scar, it looks hideous anyway so I wouldn't blame him. The kid wouldn't stop staring so eventually I tried to look over at him so he wouldn't stare, but I somehow got in a trance..he was so beautiful I couldn't take it. He had blonde spiky hair and beautiful red eyes. I looked away with light blush on my face and started to listen to the teacher.
"Okay so we're getting shared dorms tomorrow I'll read out the dorm mates.."
I got with my best friend, Izuku Midoriya. I was kinda hoping I would get with that boy from class, but life isn't a movie so I was happy with who I got.
After class Midoriya ran up to me and started speaking to me "Hey Todoroki-kun seems like we're dorm mates now!" His face was turning a light shade of pink, I thought nothing of it still being 13. I'm actually surprised about how we're getting dorm mates at this age, I thought you had to be like 16. But I don't mind because I'll get to spend time with my bestie.
Katsuki's POV:
I was paying more attention to this kid in my class today..he had red and white hair and he also had one gray eye and one blue eye. Let's just get straight to the point..he's hot and he matches the little hint I got when I first turned 14 the hint was, "small figure" I mean it could still be about half the class, including the girls but I already like Shoto so I'm just hoping it's him. While I was lost in my thoughts he looked at me for a second and turned away quickly. I didn't see his expression so I just stopped staring at him, incase it made him uncomfortable. After class Deku ran up to Shoto and talked to him for a while until STUPID DEKU STARTED BLUSHING!! I knew I had to stop it, so I walked over and asked Deku if I could speak to him on the rooftop, he agreed. I really had nothing to say so I just went with the "I need help finding something" bla bla bla. He eventually went to find this thing I made up to keep him away from a while. I know I'm only 14 and I'm sneaky. The school day was eventually over and we all went home. ....except Todoroki
Shoto's POV:
I knew I couldn't go home at the end of the day. Father would've beaten me for nothing, so I went to the lake me and my older brother used to go when father abused me. I sat down on a rock and picked some flowers to make a flower crown. Then all the memories of Touya came flooding back and I started crying..I shouldn't cry it was a long time ago and I should just get over it...but I can't, I can't get over the fact Touya just left. Then I felt like someone was watching me for some reason. I felt even more sad and started crying again.
Katsuki's POV:
It was strange Shoto didn't go home. NOT THAT I FOLLOWED HIM HOME EVERYDAY OR ANYTHING- he just walked into the woods, so I followed him. He lead me to a lake and he just sat on a rock making flower crowns. I hid behind a tree facing the other way as I listened out for him coming my way. But what I heard sounded like crying? Was that Shoto?!?! Why was he crying? So many questions filled my head and situations on why he was crying but I felt like I had to help..like I had to hug him and tell him everything was okay..I wanted to do that, I NEEDED to do that. But then all of a sudden I felt a tug on my wrist..it was finally what I needed..
