I'm about to loose my mind because the train station is so crowded and now the train is even worse.

I walk through the Hogwarts train, trying to find a cabin to sit in. I'm pushing past people, wishing they would just move. All the cabins are pretty much full-or the people inside them gave me weird glares, so I threw a finger back at them.

Finally, I hear laughter from an open cabin door and that's better than the one before me which I'm pretty sure all occupants were snogging. I peek inside to see a boy with a mop of brown hair and glasses laughing. Carrot Top—the name i gave to the orange haired boy—was doubled over his seat, gasping for breath, and a girl with brown hair rolls her eyes, returning to her book.

"Excuse me," I call out, leaning against the door frame. They quickly quiet down and look over at me.

"Oh hello!" the girl smiles. I give a small smile back folding my arms over my chest.

"That seat taken?" I ask. The girl smiles brightly.

"Oh of course!! I'm Hermoine, this is Ron and Harry," Hermoine introduces, gesturing to Carrot Top first and then the Mop. I cock my head trying to figure out where I recognized the dark-haired boy.

"Harry... Harry Potter, right?" I question. Harry looks up at me and looks in shock. Dear God, I didn't need this right now.

"Oh... yes," he swallows hard. His cheeks were bright red and I regret ever asking to sit in this cabin.

"Well nice to meet you guys," I respond and sit in the open seat next to Harry.

"I'm Lila Roses by the way," I inform them.

"What year are you Lila?" Ron asks. I lean back in my seat. I wasn't in the mood to talk about what year I was in. Or all about where I was from and why I was here and yada yada.

"Year six," I reply.

"Year six! How come I've never seen you around?" Harry cries. I let out what I hoped to be a convincing laugh.

"Oh, my parents and I have been traveling my whole life, and I've been learning about magic along the way. Dumbledore said I was advanced enough for a year six," Lila explains.

"Who's so advanced?" a snotty voice snarls. I turn to see a boy who's probably never seen the sun standing in our doorway, a scowl on his face. I meet his eyes trying to analyze his emotions. His eyes hold mine for a moment, showing me nothing, until his face contorts into a snarl.

"Nothing, Malfoy, beat it!" Hermoine snaps back. Malfoy lets out a short laugh.

"Ah, ah, ah. I haven't met the new girl yet. Names Malfoy. Draco Malfoy. What's your name love?" Malfoy asks, leaning against the doorframe. I could feel Harry tense up next to me.

"Roses. Lila Roses," I mock with a smirk. Malfoy stuck his tongue in his cheek thinking.

"Well, Roses. Nice to meet you. Pottah," Malfoy adds at the end, glaring at Harry.

"Malfoy," Harry seethes, and Malfoy strutted away.

"Um... what was that all about?" Lila asked, quite confused. Harry huffed.

"Malfoy and Harry don't like each other," Ron explains, stuffing a chocolate frog in his mouth.

"Don't like him?! I despise the bloody twit!" Harry scoffs and turns to look out the window. A tension set over the cabin, silencing everyone. Hermoine had her nose in a book called Charms Class Year Six: All You Need to Know about Year Six Charms. Ron was eating more chocolate frogs, so I sat silently, running over all the different spells she knew. Dumbledore said that I would need to keep my grades up if I wanted to be in year Six.

"Hello Hogwarts students, we are now pulling up to Hogwarts, look out your window!" the conductor announces.

"Oh Lila, you need to see this!" Hermoine calls, grabbing my hand before I can even get a word out and she's pulling out into the hall. A horde of first-years rushes to the first cabin to try to push their way for a peek out the windows.

"Woah, Hermione slow... down!" But my voice trails off. Through the fog, Hogwarts loomed over a forest. The tall gray spires speared through the clouds like icicles, the windows glinting off the little sun visible.

"It's beautiful," I breathe out. Hermione smiles.

"It's gonna be home to you soon too. It's home for me at least," Hermonie replies, gazing out at the huge castle. I simply couldn't believe it.

Here I was finally at Hogwarts School For Wizardry And Witchcraft. I suck in a shaky breath praying to the gods above that I wouldn't screw this up.
