To You, Two Thousand Years Later

On that day, mankind received a grim reminder

[Shadow hovers over the town]...

of the terror of being at their mercy... [Giant skin-lacking head appears]

...of the humiliation of being trapped inside a cage...

We lived in fear of Titans, and were disgraced to live in these cages we called walls.

Beautiful purple flowers under the sun are presented and then blood splatters and taints. Open mouth is shown; a man's body lays on the ground with blood on his face and is then lifted; a small house is shown in a sunlit plain; Titans appear around it; a in-house fireplace is shown; bloody face; a room filled with child's toys; an eye with a bee around the sclera; more blood gushes; giant teeth are show; giant hands picking up a body. Rin wakes up. Two birds fly in the air. Mikasa and Eren are kneeling down looking at her as her head rests on a tree in a plain

" We should be getting back."Mikasa says to Rin.

" What are we doing here...?"Rin asks confused.

" You were that deep asleep that you're still only half-awake?"Eren says with a teasing grin.

" No...It just feels like I had this really long dream or something... What was it about? I can't remember."Rin says still not aware of her surrounding's.

[Mikasa stands up with fire wood carrier on her back]

" Rin, why are you crying?"She asks in concerned tone.

" Huh? [Touches face]"

"Don't you dare tell anyone I was crying."Rin calls out to her protective elder siblings.

"I won't. Still crying for no real reason. You should have your dad five you a checkup"Mikasa tells rin.

"I can't tell him!"Rin says softly afraid what her father might think.

Eren just chuckles and ruffles the hair of his younger sister.

[Hannes surprises Eren and Misaka as they walk through a tunnel.]

"What were you cryin' about, Rin?"Hannes teases Rin

"Mr. Hannes"Rin calls out to the Garrison Soldier.

"Did Mikasa get on your case about somethin'?"Hannes teases chuckling.

"Huh?! What makes you think I was crying?! Whoa. You reek of alcohol!"Rin says with disgust.

"It's like, come on, y'know?"The other soldiers are still affected by alcohol.

"Oh...You're drinking again..."Eren scoffs.

"You guys wanna join in?"Hannes asks him.

"Uhm...Aren't you on duty?"Eren asks.

"Yup! We're guarding the gate today. We're stuck here all day. So we end up getting hungry and thirsty. If some booze happens to get into our drinks, so what? It's no big deal."Hannes says with a smirk.

"What if something happens?! Can you fight like that?!"Eren yells at him.

Hannes unfazed by the yelling asks idiotically,"Whadya mean, "if something happens"?

"You know what I mean! I'm talking about if they break the walls and get into the city!"Eren yells loudly.

[Knife slices a fishes head off and the citizens in the market are shown quickly. The picture reverts back to Eren and Hannes.]
