Chapter 3

"K-kenma?" Hinata lightly tapped my shoulder to wake me up. "Yes, Shoyo?" I yawned. "Were you on my phone responding to Kageyama?" He asked. I didn't wanna lie, but I didn't wanna tell the truth. "Well, yeah. I thought it was my phone and I thought someone was texting me. I'm sorry, I was tired and I didn't look at the contacts." I told half of the truth, but no lie. "Ohmygosh! You use emoticons too!? That's so cute!" He sprung up out the bed and ran downstairs. I chuckled and trialed behind him.
"We gotta get ready!" Hinata giggled. "For what?" Since everyone noticed that Tsukishima passed (For unknown reasons) they are taking some time off. "Were gonna go see some friends at the mall today!" We both got dressed and headed towards the mall to see Kuroo and Bokuto waiting for the both of them. "HEY HEY HEY! All of my best bros!" Bokuto shouted from afar. Hinata ran up to Bokuto, giving him a high five and leaving me behind. "Kenma! Hurry up, it's BURNING out here." Kuroo whined, fanning himself with his hand. I jogged inside the mall, to look at the many people roaming the hallways. "Cmon' lets gooooo!" Bokuto shouted once more. As time passed, We met some more friends along the way. "Noya senpai! Tanaka senpai!" Hinata jumped. "What are you doing here?" "Me and tanaka were just roamin' the hallways. Just byin' whatever I guess." We all stayed in a group, talking to each other. When I was walking beside Hinata, his face lit up with excitement. "Hey Ken-Ken! You wanna head to Game Stop?" Hinata asked. When Hinata said those words, everyone stopped. "K-ken-ken? BAHAHA!" Kuroo laughed. A couple of seconds later, everyone else in our little group was bursting out in tears of joy. "S-shut up." I mumbled out of annoyance. Unexpectedly, Hinata grabbed my hands and dragged me into Game Stop. "I think that nickname is cute." He whispered, shining a smile my way. I think it is too. The only thing I did was chuckle because I didn't know how to respond. "Oooh! Can we get this game?" Hinata asked once more, pointing at one of the many games on the shelf. "Sure, help yourself. I'll pay." I smiled. We spent the next twenty minutes shopping when we both saw everyone else at the food court. At this point, everyone was half asleep so we decided to go back home.

[Hinata's POV]
[Timeskip, Afternoon]

The mall was super fun today! I can't believe we got a bunch of new games! Hopefully Kenma had fun too. And also-

Ding!

My thoughts got interrupted by a notification on my phone. When I went to check it out, It was a text from the Karasuno group chat!

Sugawara: Hey guys, I know that things might be hard, especially for Yamaguchi, so I was wondering if everyone could hang out tomorrow? Hinata, you could bring Kenma, if you wish :)

A hangout? That would be cool!

Everyone agreed to hang out tomorrow at 2:00 pm. Since we are taking a break, everyone has freetime.

"Hey Kenma! Are you free tomorrow? My friends and I are hanging out and we want you to come with us." Kenma responded with a "Sure" and continued to play the new game he bought on his Switch.

[Kenma's POV]
[Timeskip, 2:00/ Hangout]

When everyone was hanging out, I was in the back playing on my Switch, as usual. I didn't really care about my surroundings until Shoyo slipped on a rock. He fell down off the ground, causing everyone to stop. "Hinata baby, are you okay?"

Hinata baby? What does he mean baby? Is he dating someone?
Those words came out of Sugawara's mouth. I watched him grab Hinata by the hands and pull him off of the ground. "Yea, I'm cool. Thanks!" Hinata laughed as he brushed his shorts off. A bot later, I noticed they were whispering to each other and they were getting a bit.. A bit close. What if they were dating? That sounds like a pretty big threat to me.
Sho is mine.
And just like Tsukki, I knew exactly what I needed to do.
Koshi Sugawara. A member of Karasuno High's volleyball team whose lover is a boy named Daichi. I've always liked Suga, but what's gotta be done has to be done, eh? I just have to figure out what to do with him. I don't want too much pain but I don't want it to be painless. Hm.. i'll think about it along the way.

[Timeskip, a few days later]

When Hinata was out of the room, I grabbed his phone and immediately started looking for Sugawara's contact but I couldn't find anything! I started to lose hope until I remembered something. Sugawara is the mom of the group, so why don't you look for the contact mom or something that falls under that category? I looked further until I saw the contact "Sugamama 🌺"
Bingo.
I took out my phone, copied the contact and left shoyo's phone exactly where he left it before. Then, I texted him.

Me: Hey, Sugawara-san,this is Kenma, Nekoma's setter.

Suga: Hey kenma? Watcha need?

Me: Well, I don't have the strength to tell you over chat, so could we meet face to face sometime?

Suga: Sure? Tomorrow I'm free at like 7 pm...

Me: That's actually perfect. Could I meet you at XXX XXX at 7 then?
