Yashiro POV
Hanako told me today he enjoyed donuts a lot. I showed him a nearby donut shop and he looked obsessed with it.
"Donuts!" Hanako sang. "Take me there!"
I couldn't resist. "Well sure." We went inside the shop and ordered some plain donuts, Hanako's favorites. I watched him devour them and for some reason felt happy for him.
He looked happy. The loneliness from the first day was completely gone. I slowly ate but still couldn't take my eyes off of him. We soon left the shop.
"Yay thank you!" Hanako sang again. "I haven't felt this good in so long."
"I haven't felt this good in so long." Then how long did you suffer alone?
