My house

In Dumbledore's office I get told to sit on a very comfortable chair. Professor McGonagle takes an old crusty hat from the shelf and put it on my head. And to my surprise it spoke.
"Ah yes. A new student. Put where to put you. Maybe Slytherin? Your family has a very long history of being in Slytherin. Yes long, long history. But you also have a bit of Ravenclaw in you. Very tricky. You're brave, cunning, smart and knowledgeable. Better make it GRYFFINDOR!" Professor McGonagle take the hat off my head and put it back on the shelf. She switches have one that me and my school uniform changes. Instead of being fully black, they now have black on the outside and a dark red on the inside. There is a Gryffindor emblem on the right breast of the cloak and my tie turns red and gold.

After being put into my house I follow Professor McGonagle to the great hall. She's shows me to the table and I instantly recognise Harry, so I go and sit with him. "Lexus your a Gryffindor." Ron pats my back. Our attention is taken to the front of the hall. Dumbledore is standing behind a gold podium. He explains how the Dementias are going to be around Hogwarts. He also explains how they're not the most forgiving giving creatures. Then he goes on about light. I have no idea what he's on about.

He waved his hands and then a feast with mountains of food pop out of nowhere. Unlike everybody else I go pretty sensible with my food choice. I grab a lot of vegetables and put them on my plate. I love vegetables. Then I grab a chicken leg. During dinner I talk to a lot of other Gryffindors. Even talk to Oliver Wood he's the captain of the Quidditch team. She would love me to try out for beater this year. Tryouts are in the next two weeks. I'm so glad I brought my broomstick. After dinner I walk to the Gryffindor dormitory with some other Gryffindors. The fat lady in a picture was singing terribly and there was a pile of Gryffindors on the moving stairs.
I'm not freaking out about the moving stairs as we had a couple of them at my old school. However didn't have as many as they do.
The fat lady was trying to brake a glass with her voice and was failing miserably. She ended up braking it on the stone pillar behind her and she finally let us in. The Gryffindor common room was warm and welcoming. There's a fire and nice looking, red sofas. In the other corner there's a table. I'm guessing that's so we can do our homework. I walk  up a very beautiful spiral staircase to go to my new dorm room. In the girls section corridor, there are multiple doors going into different rooms. Each door has the initials of the people inside that room. Five doors down I see my initials so I go in. I'm the last one to get to the room. The four other girls stand up. "Hi you must be Lexus. I'm Molly"
"I'm holly"
"I'm Daisy"
"And I'm Lucy" I shake all their hands. And sit on my bed. We take about an hour and a half to chat and get to know each other. I start to get tired so I get changed into my pyjamas and get in bed. Like usual Bucky climbs in for a cuddle while we fall asleep.

I'm normally an early riser so when I wake up it's still dark. I slowly and quietly get out of bed. Luckily I don't wake anyone up while getting changed into some black leggings, a sports bra and put on some black high top trainers. I don't normally take my wand when I do this, but I feel like I want to take it this time. So I put it in between my skin and the elastic of my leggings. I sneak out of my dorm and down to the common room. Hearing noises behind me so I turn and to see Bucky. "Bucky stay" he does as he's told and stays by the fireplace while I step through the picture portal. I sneak through the castle going the only place that has signs. The astronomy tower. Finally after about a million stairs later I'm at the top. It's taken me so long to get here that the sun is starting to make an appearance. Which means I have about an hour before people start to wake up. I better get a move on.

I close my eyes and clench my fists. There's a sharp pain at the top of my back. It's so painful that I fall to my knees. Even though it hurts I keep going. It only hurts this much because I haven't done it in a while. It's also why it's taking so long. After five minutes of pain they finally come out. My beautiful full black wings are now out stretching.

When I was younger my dad used to take me to his duelling classes

When I was younger my dad used to take me to his duelling classes. One day he did a devil curse on his opponent. His opponent then defeated the spell forcing it in another direction. Next thing I know I was lying in bed hearing my mum shouting at my dad. Luckily the spell hit a couple things before it hit me so it lost some of its effects. So instead of tuning into an angle of death for ever, I can choose when to turn and when to turn back. I also don't get the twisted mind that comes with it. However my eyes still go completely black when I turn. Another benefit of the curse is that I don't need as much sleep as normal humans. I only need 2-4 hours of sleep to last me a week.

I get up and stand on the railings. Pushing hard off into the air, I allow myself to fall a couple feet before gliding in the wind. I glide over the tall trees of the forest until I got to the black lake. Another thing with this thing is being able to walk on water. So I go down and place my feet on top of the water. The colours of the sunrise is beautiful. There's yellow, pink, red and blue. I walk along the lake, then go into a run and push up with my wings. I fly as high as I can above the clouds where it's still a little dark. Once I'm as high as I can go without meeting any dementias I let myself fall backwards and fall out the sky. This is the best feeling in the world. There's just something about falling that makes you feel free. It feels like you fall in slow motion and you just have so much time to think. I've only just come back down through the clouds, as I'm going backwards all I can see is my wings and the clouds. Peacefully falling out the sky. I turn to face the floor and corkscrew to the bottom before pulling up at the last minute to land on the lake. I go to take of again but something grabs my foot and starts to bring me down. I'm flapping and flapping trying to get up. At this point my whole foot is under the water. Still struggling to pull up I give it all my might and manage to get my foot out the water. I can see the hand wrapped around it and it's a light pink and webbed. I pull up more and a head comes out. I keep kicking my leg and it eventually lets go. I take this as a sign to go back, so I fly all the way back to the astronomy tower. Unlike turning into the devil's angel, turning back is quick. So once I land my wings go back into my back. I quickly run down the stairs and make my back to my bed. I make it just in time as molly starts to wake up.
"Morning" she says I hit her back with a "morning"
