"How was the tea for your liking your majesty? Is it too hot?"
Yoongi shook his head, indicating there was no problem on his drink at all. He had never tried this before, but it seemed calming outside his royal court. Well, not technically outside-just at the back of the palace, specifically his garden beside a beautiful blue pond while sipping millennium tea. The koi fishes on the pond were a relaxing sight as well, seeing their color variants as they swim through the water was somehow therapeutic. The fishes were thriving as the royal throw crumbs of bread in the water from time to time, the fishes flocking together bringing a small smile at the blonde king's face.
It was Hoseok's idea, he suggested the king should take a break while enjoying the beautiful palace garden away from his paper works and the people inside the royal court that boils his blood. And it seemed working, just the two of them together at the garden enjoying the calming sight.
"Hoseok, sit down right here." The king patted the spot by his side, "You'll get tired standing up like a tree right there. I won't run away to slash a man's throat suddenly so just trust me and relax too. It's your idea after all."
"Thank you so much for your kindness, your majesty."
The servant gave a beaming smile before accepting the king's offer, sitting just by his side. The day was pretty calm and peaceful, and the breath of crisp fresh air was really new to Yoongi's lungs.
"You can serve yourself a cup of tea, Hoseok. Its nice to sip a warm drink in this fairly good weather."
"I'll be alright your majesty. Besides, we servants are forbidden to drink the millennium tea."
Yoongi's expression crunched. Its absurd, just because its the most expensive tea in the nation doesn't mean servants can't drink it. It just taste the same for him, whatever the tea is in the end of the day it tasted like grass.
"I don't care. Drink a tea of your liking, that's an order. The price of the millennium tea is priceless to me if you enjoy it."
It wasn't a slip of the tongue, Yoongi meant it and it was sudden for the servant that it brought a faint blush on his sunny face.
Since when did a servant's happiness mattered to the king? Hoseok thought.
They only brought one cup and pot, and it will save Hoseok from the ordeal to drink such an expensive tea that cost twice a servant's life like his. But much to his shock the king poured on the cup he drank on, giving it to the servant.
"B-but your majesty! Its not right for you to fill your cup. I..i can't drink on it! I will get scolded by the-"
"Then are you not afraid to get scolded by me? Wow, you're getting bolder. Drink."
Yoongi was really pushing the cup onto him with a scary expression, but the servant was just really persistent too.
"Please your majesty I can't-"
One way or another Yoongi was decided for the servant to drink the tea no matter what will happen.
May the gods forgive him on what he was about to do, but he had been dreaming of it too.
He drank a fair amount of tea and placed the cup on the grass before grabbing the servant's wrists, pushing Hoseok down the ground.
Yoongi admired the servant's feature up close, the first time he can actually take a good look on those beautiful eyes. Those shining brown eyes were the most breath taking part on the servant's features, the one that shimmers happily on any situation. The eyes that bewitched him to fall for the servant. Sure by now it was full of confusion by what's happening but it doesn't take away the fact that its beautiful.
