3 • BAKUGO

The TV blared in the background as you finally crawled under your covers after a long day of hero training. You've never been more excited to sleep. Leaning over to your nightstand, you grabbed the remote and turned the TV off.

You turned the lamp off and picked up your phone to set an alarm for the morning when a text popped up on your phone.

Bakugo: Hey dumbass i'll meet u at ur dorm in 10 mins

Your eyebrows furrowed. Huh? It's like 1 or 2 a.m.

You: bet, for what

Bakugo: Smh don't ask stupid questions grab ur skateboard tho

You stared at your phone then blinked a couple of times. Weird. Shrugging it off, you put warmer clothes on and grabbed your favorite beanie. You were throwing on a pair of sneakers and grabbing your skateboard from under your bed when you heard the door open.

Twisting your head towards the door, you saw Bakugo standing next to his skateboard, leaning on his arms as he balanced them on the doorframe. A smirk quickly grew on his face as he saw the position you were in—still bent down grabbing the skateboard.

"Good timing, I guess," his eyes traveled down as you rolled your eyes.

"Yeah, yeah. Cut that out," you said, standing up to grab your phone before leaving.

Bakugo seemed unfazed by your reaction. "So...your dorm..." his gaze flew over to your bed and he smirked once again. "Your bed."

Over time, you've figured out that there's a way to get him flustered and nervous—teasing him back.

Humming softly, you set your stuff back down and walked over to the door to see Bakugo raising an eyebrow at you. You grabbed his shirt and pulled him closer to you. "Mhm. How long have you been thinking about it?"

You smiled slightly when you saw Bakugo's eyes widen and leaned in so your lips were near his ear. "That's what I thought."

As you went back to get your things, he snapped out of it. "Whatever," he said, crossing his arms.

You walked out the door past him with a smug look on your face and he rolled his eyes, grabbing the beanie you had on and putting it on himself. "I hope you know I'm taking this as payback, you bitch."

Your hair flew in the wind as you skated down the street, with only the street lamps lighting the way. It was freeing. You could practically feel the heavy weight of the stress of UA's hero classes lift off of your chest.

As you gained speed, your hair turned into a mess as it warped and twisted around your head. You were trying to shove it out of your face when you heard laughing behind you and looked back.

Bakugo didn't care to keep his eyes open to look ahead as he was doubled over laughing. "Your hair...you look like a fucking idiot, y/n."

Sticking up your middle finger at him, you scoffed and faced forward. "Shut up. You took my beanie in the first place."

He didn't seem to hear you as he lost focus and almost fell off of his skateboard, which made him snap back to reality.

It was your turn to laugh and his mood quickly changed, the previous smile on his face turning into a scowl. "Don't you fucking dare say anything right now. We're here, anyways."

You stopped beside him. The two of you were outside of a 24-hour convenience store. Tilting your head, you looked at him. "Wait, why are we here?"

"Why do you always ask me questions?"

"Says the dumbass who almost fell off back there."

Bakugo gave you an intense look, his eyes piercing into yours. "What are you trying to do here?"

You, of course, took the chance to tease him again. "You know, if you aren't careful, you might just end up crashing into me," you smirked then walked up to the store to set your skateboard against the outer wall. "Actually, you would probably use that as an excuse to end up on top of me anyways."

As you turned back around to face him, your back was suddenly slammed against the wall. His face was an inch from yours, one arm above you and the other holding your neck. He smirked again, probably because he could sense your heart beating faster than ever before.

The sarcasm that was just on your face quickly disappeared, leaving you pale. He ran his thumb over your bottom lip slowly and leaned in. "Be careful. You're giving me ideas."
