Chapter 12:The Rescue & The End

Sonic defeated all of the robots but he was too late Dr.Eggman was gone.
Sonic:No! Amy...
Sonic then went to Dr.Eggman's lair but he was nowhere to be found, Sonic then went to Tails' house to ask for help. Meanwhile with Amy
Amy:Eggman let me go!
Dr.Eggman:Nope
Amy:Ugh! Why do you have to ruin everything
Dr.Eggman:Because I'm evil hello?
Amy:*sigh* Sonic I know you'll save me please hurry

Sonic:TAILS!
Tails:Ah!
Sonic:Tails I need your help!
Tails:What why?!
Sonic:Amy's been kidnapped by Eggman & I went to his lair but he wasn't there
Tails:Sonic don't you remember that mission we went on when Amy injured her leg?
Sonic:Yeah what about it?
Tails:Don't you remember Eggman moved his lair

Tails:And we haven't been able to locate it

Tails:Bring me some of the remains of the robots & I might be able to find where his new lair is

Tails then pulled out his locater machine & scanned the metal

Sonic & Tails then followed the locater machine to Eggman's new lair

Sonic & Tails soon got through Eggman's defense system

Tails:I have a map of all the rooms in this lair

In less than a minute they were at the high security room

Sonic then busted Amy out if the cage & picked her up bridal style
Sonic:Okay let's get out of here!
Dr.Eggman:Not so fast
Sonic:Get out of the way Egghead!
Dr.Eggman:I'm surprised you found my lair
Sonic:Wasn't hard since you gave me the materials to find it
Dr.Eggman:Oh the robots I left for you to fight
Sonic:Bingo! Now get out of the way!

Then a contraption of Eggman's fell, Sonic saw it coming & threw Amy somewhere safe
Amy:Sonic!
Sonic:Amy go!
Amy:No I'm not leaving without you!

Dr.Eggman then activated the contraption & it started zapping Sonic
Sonic:AH!!!
Amy:Sonic! Let him go!
Dr.Eggman:Hahaha never!
Amy:*Sniffs* P-please
Sonic:A-Amy d-don't c-cry
Amy:*Sniffs* B-but you're getting hurt
Sonic:I'll be fine j-just go!

Dr.Eggman then zapped Amy & she passed out
Sonic:N-no Amy!
Dr.Eggman:You guys arguing was getting annoying
Sonic then started getting angry, real angry. He turned into Dark Sonic
Sonic:AH!!!!!
Dark Sonic then broke the contraption & all of the robots that came after him
Dark Sonic:EGGMAN!
Dr.Eggman:Uh oh
Dr.Eggman then tried to run away but Dark Sonic grabbed him
Dark Sonic:I'll kill you!
Amy:S-Sonic stop...
Dark Sonic:Huh?
Amy:Sonic please don't kill Eggman
Dark Sonic:WHY?! HE HURT YOU!
Amy:I'm not dead
Dark Sonic:.....but still
Amy:Please don't, killing isn't you
Dark Sonic:*sigh*
Dark Sonic then turned back
Sonic:If you ever do this again Egghead I'll mess you up
Sonic then let go of Eggman & picked up Amy bridal style & ran out to the plane
Sonic:Tails let's go!
Tails:Alright
They then took off & went back to the village. After Sonic & Amy went to Doc Ginger, Sonic took Amy to her house
Sonic:Amy
Amy:Yes?
Sonic:Why'd you stop me from killing Eggman?
Amy:Cause killing isn't your style
Sonic:*Sigh* Amy-
Amy:I love you Sonic
Sonic:I love you too Amy
Sonic & Amy then kissed each other passionately. They then sat on the couch & started watching movies & fell asleep in each other's arms
Sonic:Amy you're the best thing that's ever happened to me
Amy:You are too Sonic
Sonic:I couldn't imagine my life without you
Amy:Neither could I
Amy then kissed Sonic's cheek
Amy:Good night Sonic
Sonic:Night Amy
