𝐀𝐍 𝐀𝐂𝐇𝐄 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐇𝐄𝐑- 𝐊𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐒.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 ❧

a/n: I'm not sure if people still read this story but if you do thank you for sticking with it. I've been terrible with updating and for that I am sorry. I hope to do better as I love this story and want to finish it for you guys.

You typically always went around the mall on the weekends. It was nothing new for you. You didn't purchase anything. You just always liked looking at all of the items and buying a snack or two. You didn't really mind sitting at the food court by yourself but you envied the passing groups, laughing and drinking. 

As you were eating your snack you noticed a gray-haired male. As you looked closer, you realized it was Kita but he was with someone. You squinted trying to see who it was but there were too many people walking by for you to get a good look, she seemed short but that was all you managed to see.

''Is he on a date? Or maybe it's a relative. If he's on a date then that changes everything. I pretend to be in a relationship with him if he's seeing someone....'' Without thinking, you got up and you followed them blending in with the crowd. You had no idea why you were doing this and yet you didn't stop yourself as you followed them as they went into store after store.

You had decided you were ready to stop following them when you felt someone tap your back. You turned to see Kita behind you looking at you, confused. '' I didn't expect to see you here today (y/n).'' He was holding a few bags but paid no attention to them as he smiled warmly at you.

''Oh! I usually go to the mall a lot. I honestly just hang around in the food section and just look around stores, not really buying anything.'' You chuckled. You were about to say your goodbyes when an older woman approached the both of you. ''Shin, who is this?'' She smiled at you and Kita responded. 

''This is (y/n) (l/n). She attends my school.'' Kita said and you nodded at her. ''A friend of yours?'' She asked which Kita replied with, ''yes.''

''Oh, then you must come over for some tea!'' She said excitedly.

And so that's how it happened. Kita's house was really neat. It looked like it had been cleaned well. Kita's grandmother beckoned you both over to the kitchen so you both could make yourself some tea. 

''I'm sorry you have to do this. I'm sure you didn't have this in mind when she said she wanted you over to have some tea.'' Kita shuffled taking the kettle from your hand pouring the warm water into each of the mugs. You shrugged, ''I didn't but I like this more. It's actually kind of nice. We'll probably be looking back on this in five years or so and laughing about it. It's fine!'' You chuckled as you grabbed two of the mugs bringing them over to where his grandmother was sitting as Kita soon joined. Your words had made him smile knowing you had a plan for the future and that in some way he was still going to be a part of it. ''Yeah... I'm sure we will.''

The conversation was mostly light. You talked about school and your family. Soon you were washing the mugs and were invited into Kita's room to chat with him for a bit. His room was what you expected it to be, neat and overall pretty.

Kita sat down in front of you and opened his mouth to speak. ''I have a question for you...'' Kita spoke quietly. ''What are your plans for the future?''

You weren't prepared for this question so you paused. ''I never really thought of anything specific. I just have a general idea of what I want. A big house would be nice... maybe a pet or two. As for a job? Who knows. I'm not the best at too many things and whatever I'm decent at, it's not like I outshine anyone. I've thought about living in the big city but it'd be so loud and I'm not sure if I'll be able to sleep well with all the noise.''  You laid back as your mind really started to think about what your plans for the future were and Kita was there to listen to it. 

He leaned forward as he listened to your rambling. To him, your words were amazing even if you didn't know where you were going with them. Everything you wanted to do.. he wanted to do it too. He wanted to do it with you. 

He wanted to be with you in the future.

''So what are your plans?'' You asked snapping Kita out of whatever he was in. He never really envisioned the future. It's not like he was that specific either, he knew he should be since he was in his third year as were you. He answered,

''Maybe a farmer..''
