Today as I was walking down the hallway
You saw me and you smiled
I smiled back
When you went past me
I felt chills go through my body
After class I was going down the stairs and out of nowhere I fell
You were there
You saw me fall but you didn't catch me
I dropped my books and I hit the floor hard
Your girlfriend was there next to you laughing
But you didn't laugh
Why didn't you?
You stopped and helped me up
Our eyes met and I saw those beautiful hazel eyes for the first time
You stared back at me
No words came out of my mouth
You tried to say something but your girlfriend stopped you before you said anything
I got up and as i was getting ready to leave I said thanks quietly and left
You were gonna go after me
But your girlfriend pulled you away and slapped you
I heard her yelling at you
I tried to ignore it but I couldn't
What just happened I thought to myself.
Why didn't you make fun of me like the others?
