Eli here. I've not been in the MYCT or Lovejoy fandom for a while; however, in light of recent events, I feel I should say my piece surrounding Will Gold, or Wilbur Soot and his horrid actions towards his partners.
Back in 2021, I wrote 'The Cafe', this fic. At that time I looked up to him: he appeared to be a good person, someone who cared about misogyny and mental health, however, that good image has been shattered.
I will be putting 'The Cafe' on a permanent hiatus. Read at your own caution.
