You shuffled your feet nervously as your pare continued talking to one another. The only person you've ever come out to is Ariana, your girlfriend. She sat next to you.

She sensed the anxiety that was pulsing through your veins. She rubbed your arm as your mother spoke up. " So Y/N, are you going to introduce me to your friend?" Your almost choked on your bread, you then gulped it down and opened your mouth to speak.

"Um, actually Ariana is my girlfriend and we've been together for the past few years." Your father slammed his hand down on the table. " How dare you bring these unholy practices into our household! We raised you better than that!" "Dad, she makes me happy!" He rolled his eyes as your mom shook her head profusely.

"You WILL marry a man! Even if it's the last thing you ever do!" Your mom spoke up. You were very angry, but to say that Ariana was angry was an understatement. She sprung up from the table and grabbed your arm pulling you out the door and into her car. She sighed and calmed down, you feeling guilty about what had took place.

"Babe, look I'm sorry, my parents reacted this way. They always knew that I was gay, they just never cared to address it." Ariana shook her head and placed her hand on your cheek, caressing it.

"Hey, It's not your fault they're complete assholes. I don't want you to get hurt I want you to stay with me." You look around the car nervously contemplating whether this is the right thing to do. You sigh knowing that for the sake of your happiness and mental health, this would be the best option.

"Sure Ari, I'd love living with you." She smiled at your words and grabbed your hands, looking in your eyes for a moment before driving off. You turned your head confused, " Why, are we leaving? My stuff is back there, including my car." "We can get those tomorrow, for now let's rest and relish in our 'unholiness!'" She said with a goofy smile on her face. You laughed and smiled knowing this was definitely an amazing decision.
