My new bedroom was downright gorgeous. The theme of the room was gold and pink zebra. Eileen knew that I liked to sing, so she had a karaoke machine in there, with a screen built-in to it. I had a 52" smart HDTV plugged up on the wall, including a VCR/DVD combo where I could watch any movie that I wanted, anytime. She had me a charging/speaker dock for my iPhone that lit up different colors. It came with a remote to control it with. I also had a brand new Apple Macbook Air sitting on the beautiful desk she built for me. After I stared at my room for a while and cried so many tears of joy, I said to Eileen, "Thank you so much. I cannot thank you enough for all of this. It's so much!" I hugged her again, this time not letting go and crying on her shoulder really hard. I was so happy. Eileen rubbed my back as I was hugging her. She let go of me, looked me in the eye and said, "I have one more big surprise for you, sweetie. Come downstairs with me and I'll give it to you." So I walked back downstairs with Eileen. As we got into the middle of the living room, she said to me, "Cover your eyes." So I quickly put my hands over my eyes. I waited there for about 10 seconds, then suddenly, I heard Eileen say, "Now...OPEN!" I opened my eyes, and tears started flowing again. She had bought me the brand new iPad Air 2, gold in color. I was about to faint into the floor. I had never had an iPad before, and I was so thrilled and shocked. "Do whatever with it, Alli. It's yours forever!" said Eileen. I gave her a really, really big hug. Eileen Davidson had already made me feel comfortable and welcome in her home on the very first day.
