Pain shot through her thigh, Blood trickled down her shoulder and leg staining her clothes. She had to keep running, she can't stop now.
Her breathing got heavy as she started to run again. Distant shouts came from behind her, marking her as a target, an enemy. The girl looked back only for a second to see if any one had caught up yet, nothing but tall trees and grass in her sight. She turned her head back, it was to late. She was now falling. Luckily it wasn't a long fall, but her body ached even more now. "s-shit" the girl mumbled under her breath. She struggled to get up for only a moment. The shouts had stopped, no one was behind her, They had stopped looking.
For now.
