Using every bit of energy
He has created a piece,
Claiming it a Masterpiece.
His devotion,
His creativity,
His self,
Were the parts of his Masterpiece.
Gave love,
Gave compassion,
Gave it all
To his Masterpiece,
For he knew
It both needed and wanted.
But...
Little did he know,
One day,
He would be betrayed
By his own Masterpiece.....

Brief explanation:
(Here 'Masterpiece' is us and 'he' is the divine energy, God. )
When we lose our self esteem, when we see ourselves to be worthless, to be a waste of space, we are then unintentionally implying his hard work, his devotion and creativity to be insignificant.
When we hurt ourselves and others, we are not only betraying ourselves but also him.
When we choose what is easy over what is right, we are leaving his hands and abandon him. And without realising it, we betray him.....
