So heya fam!

PLEASE READ THIS NOTE BEFORE DIRECTLY SKIPPING DOWN TO THE COMMENTS SECTION.

First of all, as usual I apologise for not being here for 4 months. But as soon as I posted the 5th part, I was ready to write an epilogue and I even asked how many of you want a Manan type of ending. But there was this one thought that did not let me write. I am a Manan fan too, that too since 2015. I know how much everyone loves Manan. It's our own forever humesha.

But honestly when I planned this story, I planned on a happy ending. But as I progressed and wrote down this entire thing, I could not get myself to give it a happy ending. So first of all I am sorry, but I have to end this story on that separation phase of Manan. Please try to understand. I cannot give this a happy ending because first of all, the idea was to normalise mental health issues. So as the story progressed, Nandini fought for herself. She chose herself and trust me when I say this, somebody choosing themselves while facing mental health issues is a very very big thing.

And in Aryaman, she found a supportive friend. A friend who understood what she is going through and why is she the way she is. Manik after realising his mistake came to apologize but he did end up being toxic for her. And if I try to phrase in a happy ending then I won't be doing justice to my idea.

The title itself is “Best friends to Strangers?” And that was the base idea that what happens when your best friend since childhood turns out to be toxic in your life. Would you still keep giving him chances, or would you choose yourself? And Nandini did choose herself. She fought her battles alone until Aryaman came and then it was him supporting her. Friendships aren't based on how long you have been together, it's based on how real you are together. And that's what I wanted to show.

Nandini did not love Manik but she considered him as her only best friend. She was an introvert and Manik happened to be the only one she had since childhood, but as they grew up, he just ended up being toxic and the fact that she chose herself over him is a very big thing for her too because choosing your own self over a childhood friendship is a real struggle. You letting go of your best friend who turned out to be toxic is a very big thing and I wanted to just do justice to that.

So I am really sorry, I cannot write a happy ending to this. I hope you people understand. So please consider the 5th part as the end.

I have an alternative idea. If you people like what I write then maybe give me ideas of plots that you want to see for Manan  and I'll try writing them down. Also would be regular this time. Promise.
( Just not the vampire and werewolf thing please )
