"Are you really dating P'Pick?"
Rome looks up from his laptop screen and into Yihwa's narrowed eyes which is enough to cut at least five years of his lifespan. He's got to play this cool and confident. He usually is most of the time, but with Yihwa...she's sharp.
"You're always asking me why P'Pick and I aren't dating. Now that we are...why do you sound so skeptical?" Rome counters playfully, not really lifting his gaze from his Macbook screen.
"Because both of you went from denying it every chance you get to suddenly dating." Yihwa points her pen at the younger male. "You can't blame me for being suspicious."
"Like you said before, we just....didn't realize it. Being best friends and everything." Rome focused on his laptop screen once more, avoiding Yihwa's gaze.
"Who made the first move? Was it Pick?"
"Er..."
Yihwa interrupts him, "Then again, I don't think he's capable of doing something like that. Someone that dense wouldn't even recognize a crush even if it was obvious."
Rome shoots her a look of disapproval, "P'Pick's not that bad."
"Jumping to your boyfriend's defense already? Anyway, so who was it? Was it you or P'Pick?"
Well, shit. Rome and Pick had just jumped into this head first without discussing everything into detail. They should have at least thought of getting their stories straight of how they started "dating". Rome frantically tries to come up with something, but he's saved by Pick who turns up at their bench.
"P!" Rome's lips blossoms into a wide, grateful smile. "You're already done? Let's go!" Anything to get away from Yihwa and her interrogation session.

"Do you think they suspect anything?"
Pick turns the car into the campus's parking lot, deliberating over his best friend's question. It could be said that Porsche could be sort of dense, but he also wasn't dumb. There was a possibility that the other might see through if their act if both Pick and Rome don't step up their game.
"Yihwa might."
"You're right about that." Rome agrees, unbuckling his seatbelt once the car was parked ."We're going to have to make it more realistic. At the rate we're going, P'Yihwa's going to set me up with someone." Pick laughs at his best friend's whiny tone.
Both of them didn't have any classes till 10, but had agreed to meet Porsche and Yihwa at the Business canteen for breakfast first. As they neared the canteen, an idea suddenly struck Pick. Maybe why Porsche and Yihwa were slow to believe them was because they're already used to Pick doing certain things for Rome; driving him to school, getting food for him, and the sorts. He had to do something...unexpected.
Uncertainly, he glances over at Rome who was going on a rant as to the guys that Yihwa had set him up before. Most of them usually didn't get past the first date, mostly because they were intimidated or put off by Pick, or Rome's refusal for a second date.
They were already nearing the canteen. Pick had to decide now. There was no time to run through this idea with Rome, and perhaps catching him by surprise would be kind of fun.
You know what, he shouldn't overthink this.Without giving it another thought, Pick reaches for Rome's hand, clasping it in his. It's enough to make the other stop in his tracks, the words trailing off as he tries to register the fact that Pick's holding his hand. It's comical in a way, because Rome's staring at him like he's never seen Pick before, blinking rapidly at the other.
