Chapter 2

TAYLOR’S POV

I’m glad that I finally moved to California. I get to work on my music career with Dillon. But, the thing I am most excited about getting to see Grayson. It’s been five years since I’ve seen my little buddy. I’m also still in love with Blair. She just doesn’t know that. I post encrypted quotes about her on Twitter but she doesn’t know they are about her.

I just found out that she lives 15 minutes away from me. I get to see Grayson and pick him up from school sometimes if she allows me to. I want to be with my family. Blair just doesn’t under stand that. The last time I was over at Cam’s house and she was there this is what happened…

Taylor- “Blair can we talk in private?”

Blair- “Yeah.”

Taylor- “When can I come and see Grayson?”

Blair- “I don’t want you near my son.”

Taylor- “Blair, he is my son too.”

Blair- “Taylor it’s been 5 years, he doesn’t even know who you are.”

Taylor- “This will give him the opportunity to know who his father is.”

Blair- “Taylor, give me time to think about it.”

Taylor- “Okay. Whatever you say. You are always right, aren’t you?”

 

BLAIR’S POV

 I just dropped Grayson off at school. I get a call from… Taylor Michael Caniff. I look at my phone mesmerized and answer.

PHONE CONVERSATION

B- What do you want Taylor?

T- Is it true that you live 15 minutes away?

B- Yeah. Why?

T- I kinda wanted to come over and see Gray.

B- Sure, call me before you come over.

T- Thanks. See you later.

LATER THAT DAY

Grayson got out of school a few hours ago. Taylor called an hour ago to say he would be over around 7. He showed up at about 15 minutes ‘til 7.

*Doorbell Rings*

B- “You made it. Come in.”

G- “Mommy, who is that?”

T- “I’m your daddy bud.”

G- “Are you sure?”

T- “Yes, I’m sure bud.”

B- “He needs to put his pajamas on so he can go to sleep. He has school tomorrow.”

T- “I’ll do it. I have to talk to you after I put him in bed.”

B- “Okay?! Night Grayson!”

G- “Night mommy.”

All I can hear from up stairs is giggling. Until 15 minutes later when Taylor came down the stairs.

T- “So, I know that it has been a long time since we talked but Blair I still have feelings for you. I know your brother won’t like the idea but I need you and Grayson.”

B- “I know this sounds crazy but I never quit loving you. Seeing you with other girls was really hard for me to deal with. You know that, right?”

T- “I just did that to get over you and that clearly never happened I love you Blair Mackenzie Dallas.”

B- “I didn’t think you did. The way you left after seeing Grayson only twice. You just never showed up.”

T- “B, I’m so sorry. I just wasn’t ready. I mean we were both 19 years old.”

B-“ Yeah. But Taylor we’re not 19 anymore. You are going to have to step up to the plate.”

T-“I know that’s why I wanted to ask you something.”
