The call started, and Lisa didn't know what to say. She has many things to say in her head, but she doesn't know how to put those things in words, especially now, with Jungkook on the other line.
"How are you, Lisa?" the latter asked softly. His soothing voice helped the girl to calm down a bit.
She chuckled before answering, "I'm fine, just a little bit busy," she paused and walked to her terrace to look at the skies. "how about you? I have heard from Jaehyun that you're doing great lately,"
"Yeah, I think so," Jungkook laughed, and puffed the cigarette between his fingers. "I think I'm fine. I hope," he whispered.
The silence lingered in Jungkook's skin and knotted his heart tighter. His mind started to wander to the past and wonder what it feels to see Lisa's smile, laugh, or even the intensity of her gaze.
He bit his lip as the tears from his eyes started to form. 'I thought I'm finished with this. Goddamn it,' he almost cursed out loud.
Lisa wonders why it was really quiet on the other line. Well, except from Jungkook's heavy breaths that makes her worry. "Kook, are you all right?" she called out.
Upon hearing the question, Jungkook wanted to laugh real loud and scream at the top of his lungs, but the only thing he could answer was a simple, "Yeah," he paused. "Lisa,"
The girl from the other line sighed and combed her hair, "Jungkook,"
Jungkook chuckled, "I just called to ask if you are fine," he licked his lips. "will he love you more than I did?"
She smiled. "He will,"
