New Year, New Me (Hero Toga AU)

Chapter 1: New Beginnings

"H-Hey! You alright?" A female voice squeaked.

Toga looked up. She had fallen asleep under the bridge. A girl with short brown hair and eyes held a hand out for her to grab. Toga hesitantly took it and stood up slowly.

"Uhm...thanks.." Toga said awkwardly. "No pro-" Then the girl stopped and looked at Toga more closely. "...blem. Wait...Toga?"

Toga blinked in confusion. "How do you know my name?" The girl smiled. "You don't remember me? I'm Ochaco Uraraka!" The name formed a few memories in Toga's head. It's been a year since she and the other members of the LOV attacked a few of the students from 1-A. Toga barely remembered getting a bit of blood from Uraraka and cutting Tsuyu Asui's tongue with her sharp knife.

"You can just kill me right now, you know. My mom kicked me out of my house the LOV kicked me out too. So if you want, you can just float me towards the sun." Uraraka's eyes widened. "No! That's NOT what I was thinking!" Toga raised an eyebrow. "Then what are you thinking?"

"How about you go to UA with me?" Toga gasped. "But nobody likes me there! Literally, the whole entire school hates me because of my past!"

Uraraka paused for a moment. "What do you mean "past"?" She questioned. Toga took a moment to find the right words. "I want to be a hero. Not a villian."

"Wow Toga! I didn't know you had a change of heart!" Toga smiled. "Hey..could you call me Himiko? I feel more...anonymous like that...kinda." "Oh! Sure thing! Come on! Let's go!" Uraraka grabbed Toga's hand and practically dragged her to UA.

I think I'm going to like the new me...
