"Hey mom! I'll see you after school! Love ya! Bye!" I called out heading to the door. "I love you too! I just can't believe my baby's already a junior in high school!" Erhg! I hate it when she calls me her baby! "Gotta go mom! Bye! " I said running to the car. I had a feeling I would end up missing first period.

My best friends were waiting for me outside of the principles office[<I had to explain why I was late...] so we could walk to lunch together[<the principle was busy in the morning...].
We talked about stuff in low voices, so low... A human couldn't hear it.
That's right, I'm not all human, neither are my friends.
We are but one thing

"So are we going on a hunt tonight or what?" My friend asked. She was called Rachel.
"I don't know if we should, there's been a vampire on the loose... But instead of drinking animal blood if drinks human blood and frames it on the wolves." My guy friend said. He's Andrew! He's just being over protective! Like usual!
I rolled my eyes "the yeah Andy, I'm gonna go turn into a wolf and go near a human" I said, the sarcasm heavy in my voice. "I know you can smell them Emma but I don't want anything to happen to you-"
That's very sweet of him but, I had to cut him off..."woah, woah, woah, woah, woah! I do t need a bloodsucker to look after me! I'm a wolf! I could smell a human or a hunter a hundred miles away! Thanks for looking out for me but I honestly haven't been on a good hunt in ages! And I'm sure your coven would like to see you guys! I haven't seen the pack in a couple days, in sure their worrying about you, as my pack must be worrying about me!" I didn't mean to sound so... Rude, but I honestly don't like it when people tell me I can't do something I really want to do! "I'm going on a hunt with my pack whether you like it or not!" And with that, I ran down the corridors to my next class.

"Guess who's baaaa-aaaaack!"I practically sang as I entered the pack house.
"Well look who we've got here" Derek said. Oh yeah! I forgot! Derek is my mate! A.k.a soul mate! I still haven't told my friends because I have only known him for 3 days.
"Sorry honey! I promise I'll try to be here more! I got all cou-"
He interrupted me by putting his lips on mine, it was amazing and I still got a tiny tingly feeling on my lips as we kissed, it was peaceful...until "Ewwwww!" Ethan yelled as he walked through the door with his twin Anthony walked through the door. "I honestly thought you guys were over this by now! Remind me how old you guys are again?" Derek said with laughter in his eyes. "20 going on 5" Anthony replied, and with that we all burst out laughing.
