Chapter 16

Gaege POV:

We arrived at my apartment and I opened the door. I looked around and started picking up some of my bags while Eddie picked up some of the boxes. It didn't take long because all of the boxes were already packed and in the garage. After loading all of the boxes into the car, I looked over at Eddie as he was helping to put my boxes into the trunk of the car. He had his sleeves pulled up to his forearms and you could see his veins pop out when he was lifting the box up and into the car. I knew he was working out but I didn't know he was this muscular. 

Eddie: you know I can see you looking at me.

Gaege: I-I-I wasn't looking at you. I don't know what you mean.

Eddie laughed at my response. I was so embarrassed. I am sure that my face is bright red right now. I was thinking for so long I didn't realize that Eddie was all done putting the boxes into the car.

Eddie: Are you done fantasizing about me now?

Gaege: I wasn't doing such things.

Eddie: Sure.

I was standing there speechless. I watched as Eddie came over to my side of the car and opened the door for me, motioning me to get into the car. I whispered thank you as I got into the car. Eddie then closed my door and walked over to his door and got in. He started the car and we were on our way home. I finally have a place to call home with the person that I love.

-----Time Skip-----

We pulled into the driveway and he helped me get out of the car. He didn't want me to hurt my arm so he brought in all of the boxes. I waited for him in the living room and when he brought the last box into the house. He put the last box on the ground and then put one of his arms around my waist.

Eddie: Welcome home, darling.
