Ch 15:Together Tonight

Eri's face quickly changed into shock as she she covered her mouth with her hands.

"E-Eri? What did you just say...?" I reached out to touch her shoulder to soothe her but she quickly backed away."Eri?"

"I-I'm sorry....I didn't...T-That's not true...I-I..."She started stuttering when tears started to fall down her cheeks.

"Eri!" I stood up to her and gave her a tight hug."There's no need for you to explain. Something isn't letting you say what's on your mind, I understand. So, just don't say anything. You can always tell me when it's all better!" I pulled her away so she could see the smile on my face to reassure her everything's fine.

"Y-You....aren't mad...?"She looked up with a shaky voice.

"Why would I? There's always a time for everything and it appears that now just isn't the time!" I gave her a pat on the head when and flinched at the touch. That's when all the tears came falling down and she let loose all those tied up sobs.

After that, she was able to be fully cleansed and took a nap. I closed the door to her room behind me as I heard her soft breathing as she slept.

That's when I heard steps nearing me."What happened to Eri?"It was Todoroki.

"Nothing. It seems she was just quite sad about something. She might talk to you about it since you're her father-"

But he isn't.

"Sad? Did one of her siblings do something to her?"

"Yes,the twins. They thought it would be entertaining to put gum in her hair. I got it removed already. You may want to talk to talk with them." I have a small bow and walk away when he grabbed my arm."Sir Todoroki?"

"Forgive me." He let me go."It's just that, I wish to ask you for a favor."

"Sure. Tell me anything."

"You see, Eri has never really opened up to me. She was always a timid girl ever since I met her. So, I ask that you can become someone she can trust,not just as her babysitter but as a friend."

I stayed silent for a second. Then, I responded,"Sure thing, Sir Todoroki. I also wish that Eri could open up to me a bit more. Is that all you need?"

He nods.

Then we stood there for an awkward moment, letting the seconds go by.

He sighs and says "actually, there is something else I need of you..."

"What is it?"

Before I know it, Todoroki places his hand on my shoulder and leans down towards me and, moves his mouth close to my ear. I can feel his warm breath tickling my neck, my ear, and my heart begins beating fast.

He whispers "I may be prying too much in your personal life but as my employee I'm worried if you're feeling better after 'that' incident."

My palms were sweating,"o-oh, yeah." I grip the sides of my pants. "I'm taking s-some medications to help me avoid something like that from happening again..."

Todoroki was probably whispering in my ear about this because he doesn't want the children to know what happened to me but, does he know just what that voice of his does to someone?! Especially when you hear the low husk of his voice lingering oh so close to-

"Are you sure you're alright?" He stands straight back up and looks into my eyes with worry.

Damn, stupid height difference..."Yes, I'm fine now." But I guess it's kind of hot.
