"I'm fucking done with this." The man walked over toward her. "I'm done with all of the shit. Always expect me to do everything, well you know what? I don't give a fuck about you, I don't give a fuck about this fucking mess you call a family, and I don't give a fuck about how you do without me!" The girl watched from the top stairwell. "It's okay Pedro." She said stroking the little boy's head. "It's okay....." Pedro looked up at her. "What's wrong with daddy?" She turned back towards him. "Daddy's okay, don't worry...." He took another look. "He doesn't look okay."
"Daddy will be okay, and so will we." She bent down to reassure him. "Remember that game we always played?"He nodded. "Why don't we play a round of that game? You hide, I'll come and find you." Pedro nodded happily. "Okay, I'll count." She covered her eyes with her hands. "1...2...3......" The little boy ran down the hall. "...4...5...6..." He didn't stop. Pedro turned the corner into the spare room. "...7...8...9..." He shut the door behind him. Giggling he hid behind the bookcase. ".........10! Ready or not! Here I come!" She flounced down the hall, her white nightgown flowing behind her. She skidded to a stop outside the spare room. She smiled. Trying to be quiet she creaked open the door. ".....GOTCHA!!!" Puzzled she looked at the empty room in front of her. Pedro always hid there...maybe he was trying to confuse her. She started back outside. "Huh?" She turns around in the direction of the noise. "Pedro?" She walked back inside. "Pedro?" She called. "Are you in there?" She looked up at the big wooden bookcase. "Pedro?" She tried to pull the bookcase upward to revel what was behind it. The whole thing lifted off of its hinges. Puzzled she looked at the big open space in which it had covered before. "P-Pedro? T-the game is over you won...." She said as her gaze met the boy's. "L-Lu...." She leaned in closer to him. "Yes?" He looked up at her. His face a crimson red. "R-run!" Puzzled she turned in the direction he was pointing. Her father was standing in the doorway. He raised the object in his left hand. Lu tried to call out for him. "D-daddy....? Daddy?!" He gave a smirk. "Daddy's not here." He lifted the gun to her eye level. "I'm innocent! I'm innocent!!!!" She screamed trying to get away. He blocked her path. Grabbing her by the front of her nightgown he buried the gun into her forehead. "LIER!!!!" She didn't have enough time to scream. Lu fell to the ground, her crimson blood lapped around her father's feet. Fragments of skull rocketed off the walls as her father drew back the gun. Pedro looked at the headless, lifeless body of his sister on the ground. "L...Lu......?
